Got my center support bearing and u-joints swapped out today. 2 of my u-joints had a single cap with destroyed needle bearings. All the noises are gone rolling down the road. Very happy.

Anybody local have a set of OME Dakars and want to swap them for Dakar HD packs? I’m not running enough weight in the rear and it’s too high. Trying to get better driveshaft angles.

Currently on Hilton Head island for a couple days with my family for vacation.

Any recommendations to go for a couple boys (ages 5/4) to that love all things nature, fishing etc.

would love to find a little spot for them to catch minnows with their little dip nets, or hermit crabs….or cast a pole off the shore or dock somewhere.

    nature trails etc.

    thanks in advance everyone!

Its been a very long time since I've been down to Hilton Head, but I always loved the expansive bike trails that ran through the island. That was always something i looked forward to when I was a kid.

You can remove the overload spring or both really. From what I understand HDs just have the heavy overloads. I removed the biggest one and it lowered the rear of my truck with a lot better ride. Done this about 6 months ago and glad I did.

Sounds perfect! That’s what I’ll try. How much would you guess it lowered it? 1”?

Yeah probably just little more than 1”
The leaf itself is about half inch or so thick.

You can read up on it. There’s a lot of good info on which one to take out. I did the biggest one and my leafs still can handle plenty of weight without sagging.
