    around 2 years ago when I got my truck the owner got the dealership to safety it and they installed a new "Toyota" battery. I don't know who makes it for them but no complaints hear. It dose good winching, running my small fridge all night and my 12v always on charging my phone over now even the inverter charging milwaukee batteries while I drive. So pretty happy with the factory battery..

    lots of good battery info hear. Walmart.. who knew

    TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
    I'm happy with this choice for a battery, Motomaster Eliminator. Truck even starts faster now.

    I approve of this post. CT warranty has never let me down.

    North Star hands down.

    They're worth the money.

    If you're willing to change your harness you can get a rebranded x2power (which is just the rebranded didn't make quality control of North Star) group 27 Motomaster nautlus ultra AGM. Same battery I run as my secondary.

    Found out when I was doing my dual battery about the x2power etc. North Star will not rebrand a North Star. But if something doesn't make the quality control of North Star it's sold as x2power which will rebrand. Comes with same warranty and cranking etc. Pretty sure it's just cosmetic issues.

    The place I got my North Star spoke highly of those x2 ones and that's the same supplier my company deals with a lot for UPS battery banks. So safe to assume the guy knows batteries really well.

    not sure who sells north stars but if you need something i also recomment the motomaster battery from crappy tire.

    to my understanding most CanadianTires have them in stock;
    https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/...-group-size-24f-battery-750-cca-0102420p.html

    and follow this;
    3rd gen OEM carrier is a tight fit but fits non-the less.

    Battery is in. Went with the Optima 34. Everything is working fine and charge is holding. I've had some start issues in the last few months and once boosting, it would go away and truck would start normally again. The last trip probably took it over the edge. Charge wasn't holding and kept dropping once the truck was off. Woke up this morning and it was showing 10.45v.
    The extra capacity will be welcomed.
    The Optima comes with adapters for 24, 27 which allows you to use the stock clamp.

    That was a quick upgrade. No better promotion, though, I suppose.
