I just threw a Flowmaster 40 Series muffler on my 2011, and I love it. Low end sound is incredible (makes it sound more like a truck) and the downshifts are fantastic (I drive a manual). However, I've noticed that inside the cab, when I'm trying to accelerate hard and get over about 3k-3500, the noise of the engine drowns out the exhaust, and it sounds like I'm driving a Sienna again. Is this just something I have to live with, or would further mods give me better high end sound? Obviously I'm aware I drive a slow truck that isn't meant for speed or performance, I just love the sound from the exhaust and hate to hear it disappear :)

Cold air or cabin intake are your best options
Or long tube headers but it won’t sound good

Put a "U" at the end of your exhaust and make it point towards the cab and not away. You aren't hearing the exhaust at 3k+ RPM because you're blowing the sound away from you.
