I have #31 - picked mine up 01Mar. We made a week long trip out of it, Airbnb's in WY, ID and OR on the way out there, and camped in a couple spots in the Redwoods of CA, and near Moab, UT on the way back.

Picking mine up at the end of August from the Bay Area. Stoked!

What are you all doing to your suspension to account for the extra weight? My truck (2013 DCSB) is stock rn. I'm thinking an AAL will be fine, but I'm a n00b.

    Thanks!

For an empty camper with no build out and minimal to zero gear and IF your leaf springs aren't already sagging, an Icon 3-leaf AAL would probably work. But, if you are already sagging or going to carry any gear in the truck, you'll likely be sagging.

You could do an AAL as a cheap in-between while figuring out your normal weight additions and then buy the proper spring pack or install airbags.

@Ghostship installed my set of Deaver U402 Stage 2 leaf pack last year. They are awesome!

Oo man, thanks Jason. No sag yet but definitely intend to do an interior buildout, and I'd be hard pressed to do anything fun with no gear :). I'm a furniture maker, so plywood would be easy but also super heavy. Hoping to stay under +300lbs for the buildout and gear.

The folks at Shaffer's Offroad in Alameda recommended the Icon mini pack, but sounds like that wont cut it. Airbags seem like they may be a bit annoying to keep filled, so maybe a new pack is my best option.

Oh I've seen it. So friggin clean (well done Alex!), and looks pretty easy to work with. I've been coming up dry trying to find a place to buy full sheets of PVC foam board in the Bay Area. Would love some leads if anyone has any, otherwise I think my next step is to call around to a few plastic fabrication shops.

    My man!

@ScenicCityOverland curious - did you add the ACM just for looks or does it serve some other purpose? Also, looks like you're using 3/4" foam board. Did you consider 1/2"? Sounds like what you made is already super light, but interested to see how little material I can get away with.

Question, I know there's a bunch of threads on dust proofing and I've done everything to date, caps, cubbies, tailgate, etc. Except for those 2 large holes in the front corners. What are folks doing to seal those up, other than squirting a butt load of silicon into them? Thanks

I used butyl tape (which I mentioned previously and is probably buried in this thread). Also works well covering up any holes if you happen to find any other entry points along the way.
