Does the ceramic coating helps with marring? Toyota soft paint sucks.

I don't know how coating works. How does it prevent marring?

Does all coatings turn into tempered glass or certain ones?

How can you separate the good coating from the bad? There's a lot false advertising.

 

That's my problem. I know how to detail. Well, I can. I'm not a pro, that's for sure. But I can give it a whack. And if I had a black vehicle, I'd be doing that -- all the time. So I went with white because ain't nobody got time for that!




Hey Rick - this one's for you. I had my soft topper on for a trip up to Maine last weekend. I have my rear dash cam in the rear window. I left it up, figured whatever, worth a shot. Here's a picture from a video.



Long of the short - It SORT OF gets a good view of the bed. . Unfortunately I didn't have enough time backward on the card to grab a picture from it before I made the drive. But, rest assured, it's better than that

Rexing V1P dash cam - I have one, I can't say I recommend it anymore. Turns out - when you shut down the car, if the battery is going or is already bad, it corrupts the last file and doesn't save it right. It SHOULD have enough battery to recognize the shut down, save the file, then die. I almost flattened a kid on a bike who decided not to look to the right, because the left was clear, earlier on the way to work today - file is bupkiss. Might be able to save it should need be ever, but - get something else, all I'll recommend might look to replace it soon.

I was 90% tempted to buy that thing. That was beautiful. But I have already beat the piss out of mine after only 18 months, I couldn't do that to such a good looking truck.
