I was just up there for 2 nights last month at site 12. Jealous of your spot, sounds amazing to have stayed so long!

Looks like some pretty country. But I have relatives in that state that I wouldn’t want to be that close too.

 

OOF! That’s why you gotta drive off into BLM land! That way you barely run into people, let alone relatives.

Another successful and pleasant trip in Ontario’s crown land this last weekend. It was the first time I tried an awning set up and it confirmed that I wanted one so I ordered a 270 degree awning as soon as I got home.

 

I didn't stage any cool pics of the truck, but here's the moose and two deer that wandered through my camp.

Top of yankee boy basin this past weekend. High altitude sleep is the best.

 

Tripod pointing south?... ISO set to 1600, shutter set to 15 seconds, focus to infinity... around 1:00 a.m. ??

 

That's really close to where I'll be here in the next few weeks for Autumn. Hows the roads up around there? View looks freaking amazing

 

The roads are easy. Just need high clearance and good tires. One pic looking out from there camper and another shot heading up to the camp spot.

 

Any chance you have some detailed picture of how you have that tent mounted to the rack?
