I moved my ROTH to safer places today.

    401k is next.

Smart. Already have my 401k diversified or it would be down a lot more. Can’t complain it was up at a new high just last week. Roth is my play account so a little gamble with F for fun, gonna cash out at $16-17 in a year or less. I think. :p

Today was rough. My work sponsored retirement is still up 14% YTD. Didn’t budge.

My personal investments are down ~4% today and that’s just today. I’m down around 15% from ATH.

NIO, my largest investment says it’s down due to a fatal automated crash. I don’t blame a car completely for this, but I’m sure there are other influences at play as well here since most of my portfolio is down.

Yeah that’s rough. Even though my main 401k is diversified I saw it drop $10k in one day not long ago lol. bounced right back up in a week or so it’s all good. Just have to ride it out if it’s good investments. Or bail at the right time if its not.

I've been in NIO since $3.50.. I'm long hold. At first it was just not selling due to me not holding it for a year and trying to avoid the tax man.

Now I'm not selling because I believe we will see it skyrocket back up in due time.

I'm long holding most of my positions now. AMC may be a sell soon and a few others, but I tried to invest in good companies that hopefully just fell on hard times and were low. NIO will probably always be my largest gamble through out my investment career, and I heard about them on this forum 1 or 2 years ago.

Man you’re still sitting like a king with NIO. Wish I’d got in back then!

    Fucking fuck.

I was kinda expecting it but fuck. That sucked. By tomorrow open I'll be down 20% the last 3 weeks. I needed to get some bad luck going since the good luck streak really was to long. No biggie. I'll still be up 38% YTD and 360% over 2 years. I'm still playing with the houses money so I can think of the last 3 weeks as one big tip. I'm leaving the table tomorrow and going mostly cash.

    GTii did OK though. lol

dayum that’s impressive, I need to start watching what you do lol. I have another 401k with my company with about $30k and climbing in it, not many choices of ETFs in it. When I retire I’ll move it to TD Ameritrade and have a decent size play account to work with in stocks.

OK. I got that all out of my system. Good news. TV and soundbar will be here Friday. Bad news. I haven't told my wife I ordered them. The plan is to put the new TV and soundbar in the living room. Then put the old living room TV and soundbar in the bedroom before she gets home. I'll have 1.5 hours so it should be doable. Then sit back and see if she even notices. lol

Women can sense when you open your wallet for a soda at the gas station, zero chance she doesn’t notice you dropped a couple grand lol

The couple grand came out of my personal discretionary account. She won't see a paper trail. As long as I get the Roku hooked up and have her use that remote I honestly don't think she'll notice. It's gonna be a fun experiment at least. And, yes, I plan on telling her it's new eventually. lol

The question is does she notice because it’s awesome, or because something seems different and its “annoying”.

That's a good question. My wife is one of the people that can see motion jitter @ 60Hz. I know because it took me an hour getting the old TV set up so she couldn't notice it as much. This TV has motion processing out the ass so the plan is to just turn all that shit on and hope the 120hz refresh doesn't make it worse for her.

Ford: surviving off F150, mustang, and small hatch sales
Also Ford: tries drastic changes to F150 and mustang unnecessarily and plans gets rid of cars that aren't crossovers
They had it together but at this point if they lose some of the cop car contract they're done for
