My GS has a used Guild M20. So tempted. It's not much less than new though. So odd how expensive used stuff has become. A lot of times it's more and I don't mean some rare vintage.

The used market jas been pretty decent for a while, fortunate for me as I was thinning the heard. Only upside down one guitar so far .

I have a Westerly Rhode Island Guild (2001 F-30R) and i will never get rid of it - those vintage guilds are out of control with their build quality and sound. I have had it for about 15 years and the value has skyrocketed. Its insane.

My favorite brand. Would love to have an original Polara.

If I ever find myself with money to blow, a smaller body Taylor is on the list for beach / river trips!

Check out a Guild P240. Great parlor.

But I'm not gonna argue with a Taylor.

I was concerned I'd be all cramped up (especially when fingerpicking) as I am 6'-4" with spider fingers, but for some reason this guitar fits well and lets me make some good reaches.

My Taylor is about to go to it's element. Out in the woods camping with friends and a few good bottles of whiskey. Wish one of them played too. Don't know many people that play.

    Have fun!

Same, I have no friends that play anymore… they all moved away. It’s just me bringing my guitar places now and it just makes me the odd one out. Sorta awkward sometimes if I’m being honest.

Only 'liked' it because I know the feeling. I spent years looking through Craigslist when I graduated college trying to find replacement jam buddies. Everyone was either trying to tour and make it big, or looking for free lessons. There was that snapshot time in high school/college where we could drink a couple beers, smoke a little, and just sit back and jam for hours on end. Exploring a new scale or making up a chord progression that just worked. No judgement - everyone just having fun but progressing and getting better.

Fast forward to today and all my buddies are too far away and lost the drive to play. So I have become a couch professional and if I want to jam, pull up an jam track on YouTube and play along.

same experience. i wanted a real Gibson LP so bad but when i finally got one, i much preferred my ESP Eclipses. they sounded much fuller. i also had a Eip Korina Explorer that kicked all kinds of ass after i installed Gibson Burstbuckers in it.

He just bought it. Says he been looking for it for 30 years. lol. Said he would for sure hit me up when he decides to sell.

I didnt want to seem desperate. We'll see how it plays out. At this point, I would probably pay up to $2000 for it.
