Nice work rolling the body edges under and giving it a finished look. Great attention to detail. :hattip:

Great looking bumper. The stage 2 high clearance part is the bumper ends? Probably my favorite I have seen so far. Definitely on my list!

the OEM woofer has to go on the passenger side 60% (at least that's how mine came). this is in the driver-side 40% space

    Appreciated

The stage 2 is the ends. They bolt on. In hind sight should have just done the full skid bumper. I think it is slightly more money but think the install would have been about half the time.

I priced everything out in the shopping cart and it will be a minute till I can get one but man I like it. I like a viper cut but that really makes it look factory and not just chopped up.

If you mix baking soda and plain tap water in a cup and then pour it on the terminals it will dissolve any corrosion and neutralize any battery acid that may have leaked out.

That's probably better than any car air freshener you could buy. You'll be smelling it for weeks too! Maybe I should try A&W rootbeer, cream soda, or cactus cooler. :D

Let’s get some of our friends in the “hat” to send down some pine beer and then resell it as an instant deodorizer that activates at a cool 135 (Fahrenheit).

I know I could have used that to clean it and saved $2.39 on the cleaner vs a box of baking soda but I just got both the cleaner and the preventive treatment. The baking soda just cleans it.

The OEM battery seem like it leaks acid out the top more than most lead acid batteries I've had. I really liked the AGM batteries as they don't leak and the terminals and cables stay cleaner.

Yep, my oem battery leaked profusely from the top caps and was replaced within a few months of ownership under warranty. I used the baking soda method for a few months before taking back to the dealer and demanding a replacement under warranty. I had to pull teeth at the service department to get it, because the baking soda cleaned it so well. The tech claimed nothing was wrong with it based upon his visual inspection.

Toyota gave me their true start battery with an 84 month warranty. It's been trouble free for over 4 years, but I can tell it's starting to decline. I like the AGM batteries as well. I believe they require an aftermarket ecu tune like KDmax to get the correct amp draw from the alternator as the stock ecu tune won't put out enough volts to fully charge AGM's. Otherwise you can top them off every so often on an AGM compatible float charger.

Not at all, I routed it away. And with air moving under as I drive it shouldn't. Ideally silicone hose would be best, it can resist higher temperatures than regular rubber or plastic.

My old Liberty CRD came with an optima red top when it was new. of course it was almost three years old when I got it and that battery died shortly after. Optimas dont have the best track record since sold and moved to mexico. I had the best luck with Sears diehard platinum AGM lasting over 6 years in a diesel is pretty good. Sears is long gone from my area and they sold out their brand names to others so can't trust them now. The charging is a little different for agm batteries for sure. you really need a trickle charger that is made to maintain them if you try to use them in cars not programed to charge one correctly. using a charger to top up the AGM batteries I'm told really works like you said.

I'm going to look after my battery and keep it clean. I feel like I'm going to have trouble with asking for a new one like you did. I will just replace it down the line with something else. I can get Interstate at bJ's wholesale or Find a Deka/east Penn made one at batteries plus.
