Trailer wiring Not working anymore.

    Suspension:Procomp 4" coilover lift kit w/cv drop & diff drop. Dirt king UCA, Sway bar relocate, urethane bushings and sumo bump stops AAL w/ 1" rear block and shim. Fuel 18 x9" wheels with 275/70/R18 K02s. BAMF CMC (deep). Exterior: High linel bumper gaurd with LED bar and Smitty winch. CNC Blue line Grille. Custom 6" LED over 3rd brake light for trailer/ bed. Any time backup and Front facing camera. Rear hitch guard/step, rear tow hooks (f150). Red tail light overlays and side mirror signal tint and corner marker blackout. Fully debadged and removed decals, tailgated raised letters. Toyota tonneau cover. Nerf 3" side rail sliders. Interior: Meso Dash Blackout kit, w/AC knobs and Start button. Blue floor led lights , Meso lower dash switch panel with HDMI input and usb quick charge. Dash track mount w/ram mounts. Blue vinyl overlays. Kicker tweeters and kicker amp w/ JL w3 8" sub on OEM entunes head unit (anytime gps mod & av input.. Full door, roof and cab dyna mat. Weather floor mats, center console cover, LED int light kit. Full Alpine Dash cam.setup(3). Performance: OV Tune, K&N filter with TRD piping & accelerator. TRD exhaust Tip. Oil catch can and AC drain mod.
    So my trailer plugs in the( rear bumper) the other day pretty much went crazy and now it doesn't work at all except for running lights. I've used the regular 4 prong one countless times with my 12ft trailer with no problem. Well for the 1st time I used the round style outlet for a trailer with brakes and it's been crazy ever since. The running lights stay on no matter what even with the truck off and headlights off. No turn signal hazards or brake lights at all.

    And my tailgate light bar does the same. Also tried a buddies regular trailer (4 prong)with the same outcome

    Check your fuses under the hood. The trailer might've had a short in the wiring and blown one of them.

    No rodents like that around me and I looked under the rear and nothing looked stretched, cut or frayed.

    I was under the impression they worked off of the tails. Is there fuse (s) for the trailer connectors them selves

    I haven't checked on my 3rd gen but there was on my 2nd. Seeing as these trucks are extremely similar in everything I wouldn't doubt the 3rd gen trailer lighting is in the under hood fuse box.
