Yes sir, it was the d2s morimoto kit.
If I was doing it now I’d splurge on the morimoto 2.0? led retrofit.
Basically a complete similar kit, but uses led instead of hid.
It was scary as fuck baking and then splitting my headlight seals, since I used the oem housing…
But honestly there are a bunch of tutorials out there if you don’t want to pay someone to do it.

Feel free to message me for further details if you’d like.

Got a scan gauge on order, should be here in a day or two. How did you mount it? Velcro or double sided tape?

My first "real" job at 13 was washing cars on a lot during the summer, easy to do that if you don't know what you're doing, but a pro detailing shop shouldnt have a kid doing it either.

These stands are great, I like the double locking feature. HF gave me $150 for my old stands and bought these instead of theirs. Win/Win

I'm installing the JD Fabrication lower arm pivots. Almost finished cutting off the lower control mounts/tabs on one side. Sure wish the weather would cool down a bit.

What were they using? methylene chloride? Yikes....

Idiots are everywhere and the leading reason why I never let anyone detail my vehicles or use those trendy automatic car washes. Sorry that happened to you man..

Greased the front and rear zerks, touched up a few spots on the frame, and built a mini-platform for the rear seat for our dog.

Our dog is not a small dog (although not huge either, 65-70 lb lab mix) and although we put her in the back seat on trips, she loves to be half up front and half in the back, with her head laying on the center console. She would usually sit her butt/rear legs on the bench seat and then stand with her front legs on the rear floor so that she could put her head on the center console, in a very awkward and presumably uncomfortable position so that she could be "up front" with me and my better half.

I used to put a tool box there with a rag or a blanket on top for cushion, but I decided she needed something more dedicated. So I built this:

    PXL_20210721_014140752.MP.jpg

Just some left over lumber, plywood, and felt carpet, a few screws and some staples. It works well too, the dog loves it.

Spotted this on the way home from a doctor's appointment this morning. I'd hate to have to throw that tire up there.

It worked really well. Cost like $7 so remember that when you retire! :)

I tightened up the BROG attic and used picture frame mounts to make a better platform for it. My kids love this thing.

Double the pleasure double the fun. I was just getting my 2012 SR5 with 140k miles to my liking after owning it a month. Few mods and upgrades with a ton of overdue maintenance. Runs and drives awesome and starting to look pretty good.
    20210810_131458.jpg
Then today I ran across a killer deal on a 2008 Off Road with only 83k miles and just had to have it. So now the dilemma begins. Which one to keep.
    20210817_141233.jpg
And the new old one reminds me of my old new one
    2016 trd.jpg
Best part is I sold the 2016, bought a 2008 and 2012, and still have $3k left in my pocket. I think I made out. Coincidentally the Toyota dealer called a few minutes ago to tell me there is a new recall on the 2016 (another one) that needs attention.

Left my truck in the dirt/gravel parking lot outside the bar overnight on the weekend, came back to it completely roosted. Washed it today and uncovered about a million chips in my paint on the tailgate. My truck is far from perfect but the fact that some asshole did that 10 feet from my rig really pisses me off. 17D3D10B-480F-40B6-91E6-5CE16764ED2E.jpg

    Work in progress.
Quick question. This is my 2nd, 2nd gen. When I go over big bumps, I notice my bed jiggling around. It seems normal for a p/u truck. Do the bed stiffeners help with that at all?
