I got diode dynamic resistors for my led blinker bulbs. The wires included are way too short to mount the resistor away so I’m extending them with spade connectors. The wire the resistor comes with is 18awg. All I could find was 14 awg cerro wire. Is that fine to use?

Functionally fine. Going bigger doesn't hurt. Going smaller can.

Haven't got a clue what "cerro" wire is, but the change from 18AWG to 14AWG is preferable.

When talking wire gages, smaller numbers are bigger.

    I had to lookup "cerro"...

Assuming that Google hit is accurate, I would not use Cerro wire. Go buy some regular 18-awg (or 16 or 14) that can be used for general (indoor/outdoor) applications.

What he said. You’d be best to use a good cross-link automotive wire. Try these guys: https://4rcustomswire.com/ they have all kinds of gauges and colors, and shipping is free and fast.
