I've looked at the same one on Ebay for my '01. It was listed @ $229 and free shipping. I really like the looks of it, but for some reason it seems that everyone on CustomTacos bashes brush guards. I like the way it looks, and I know that it's not gonna protect my front end in a high impact crash. It will give some protection during moderate off roading though. I'm like you, I'd like to have the ARB Bull Bar or something similar, but I don't have the $600+ to throw down for something like that. Only think I'm concerned about is rust. I bought nerf bars from the same company, and they've began to rust where rock debris has chipped the powdercoat. I'm gonna clean them up and coat them with bedliner spray. I'll probably do it to the brush guard when I get it too.

Believe me they will pay for themselves one day!! Deer, shopping carts, sliding into a mailbox or rearending someone ...all things that the 'cheap' brushguards will protect your truck from
