Crazy rainstorms this morning made the flooding so bad people with crossovers/cars aren’t at work right now. Almost feel like I have to drain my diffs after that lol.

 

Appreciate the offer but I got lucky and mine were in good nick. Actually my centers looks much better than the wheels haha

 

I'll take them if no one else has claimed dibs yet...

 

I don't mind changing mine as much since the new flex fill containers came out.

 

I ended up watching a Japanese Samurai movie last night. Posted the Pastrana run after the movie was over and pretty much headed to bed shortly after that.

 

Daaammmmnnn those are so fresh and clean! I think those caps only work for alloy wheels right? I'm switching over to the stock steelies and painting them blue so I don't think I need em, thank you tho!

 

If you can confirm they'll fit then sure call them yours.

Oh totally off topic but figured @CS_AR and maybe @Kwikvette might be interested. I had to go recuse my trailer (9x12 enclosed) from the property I store it on yesterday because of a fire nearby that was threatening the property... anyway, first time I have towed with the new springs and holy shit the LC stayed level and it handled like it was without a trailer. Absolutely way more stable than ever before.

 

@Kwikvette Check out some cool stuff that my Landcrusier buddy from Little Rock is building. He has been making some specialty LC stuff also.

I know you don't mean any harm with the video posted, but keep in mind for those that have done their time/service how it could affect them.

Really leaves some of us to question the efforts put in and how it was all for nothing; feel betrayed even.

I didn't go to Afghanistan myself, as I've only deployed to Iraq. But my unit did, as their orders changed to go to Afghanistan while they were on the 31st MEU to Okinawa, Japan.

They took heavy casualties and I lost several friends I personally served with. 3rd Batallion 5th Marines, Darkhorse if you care to look us up.

But to sum it up, it is fucking horrible what is going on over there as we can only watch from a distance as the country crumbles once again.

I have to put it back on the property in a day, gonna flex seal the roof corners while it's home and repack the wheel bearings, but when I go to put it back I'll take a pic. It drives with a tiny rake usually and with the trailer on it was damn near flat, still a very little rake. Which even unloaded it has never done, it's always been squatted to some degree. The coils are progressive ones, supposed to handle more weight than stock while being more comfortable.

 

Glad the springs are working out. I'm somewhat amazed at the rear springs on the 100 after the CO trip. I had it loaded up way over GVWR. I think I was in the 7,000 LBS range. I carried a bunch of spare parts like CV axle, floor jack, tools, and more. The interesting part is the rear lift stayed at 3" with all of the additional weight. No swaying or feeling like I was overloaded in the mountains -- other than needing more HP. I followed a fast-moving BMW across NM and TX that was running 90-95 (they were driving that fast) and felt comfortable like I was in some big sports sedan. When I unload I think I'm riding on the smaller spring tails and the ride is still good.

I like the way it behaves either loaded or unloaded.

 

+1 - I can attest to the progressive comfort. Hell yea.
