That's impressive that it's holding height with so much additional weight. I'm very happy with the Dobinsons springs. I will see about going abck next year and getting some of the MRR shocks.

Oof, hope you don't get rain in the meantime.

It's been mid 60's here, yet a blistering 95-100 in the Fresno area, and I'm hearing of others getting hit by rain. Weird ass weather...

I will say I do love progressive coils as that's what the 4R runs; with or without weight the rear end is planted and comfortable as hell.

I just need to learn to weld already so I can install a panhard correction kit :frusty:

Love checking out what's available for LC's whenever I'm bored. I remember seeing some radius arm mounts where they slightly relocate the arms on an 80 series.

    and @Kwikvette

Here's a real-world side-by-side comparison between Dobinsons front IMS and Ironman FCP front shocks. I saw the exact same front droop improvement.

I see some 80 people running DeltaVS radius arms. That may be what it's about.

    I've seen those!

    So ok, dumb question;

Are these shocks intended as something better than say, OME and Bilstein 5100's, without going fully overboard like ADS/Fox/King 2.5's?

It's nice that they're rebuildable, and can be valved to one's liking, but I wonder if they're difficult to work with like Fox 2.0 IFP's or similar. They're not really that expensive, and I may consider a set while Kings get rebuilt. Just doesn't state any specs such as compressed/extended lengths.

It's going to rain this afternoon, my leak proofing is more just a precautionary thing, I put a new roof on this trailer 6 years ago but I haven't done any more sealing since then and it spends 100% of its time outside in the elements. We really need the rain right now so if it rains I'll yank the thing into the shop. I don't have a current picture of the stance yet, but here it was before when I would tow...

And that was with smaller tires too haha

    Watched The Hunt last night

One of those gratuitously violent, spoof-horror comedies about a bunch of rich elites kidnapping a dozen 'regular citizens' and hunting them in Croatia for sport

Yeah it was about as ridiculous as it sounds but it was pretty good for what it was lol

they had to chop scenes and change it before release tho, sad. Was in lieu of the whole political stuff with claims of them doing the same irl

I understand. Only really shared it for the Toyota comment at the end. Don’t intend on sharing anything else.

I’m the odd one out with all my military/veteran family and friends. So it’s pretty much dominated any conversation these past few weeks. And probably desensitized me a bit.

Hmm, yeah I guess that's not surprising

I was pleasantly surprised to see the two biggest actors (other than Hillary Swank) get killed off in the first couple minutes, you rarely see that happen in a movie.

Lol we just watched that a few nights ago.

What's weird is you would think this character was going to be the main dude or girl, only for them to die right away.

Throw in the whole politically correct theme, and you've got a movie that's both stupid funny and entertaining.

haha yeah I thought the dude from that This Is Us show was going to be the main character through the whole thing

Then he steps on a landmine like 2 minutes into the hunt

    well there goes that idea
