    i've just learned to give them space, let them know i'm there so they can decide if they're comfortable with me around or not, and watch the body language. he was relaxed around me - even when i came crashing onto the trail about 20 feet from him. i backed up immediately, let him know i wasn't a threat, and he went right back to doing his thing and all but ignoring me. can't say the same for the other dude who got too close or the dogs - he seemed to be keeping a close eye on them!

    only if you come out...knowing you you'll bring a damn bait fishing pole with ya :rolleyes:

    speaking of...i need to still take care of that. i did stop yesterday and got in line (only two rigs) but one rig finished and pulled away and the next guy didn't move. nex tthing i know he's out of his truck and pops the hood. freaking truck died right there at the dump. so i left. i'll take care of it tomorrow.

    Just got back from my Morning walk and this time didn't forget my phone !!! . Walked my usual route and the same extra distance yesterday and ended up with 2138 steps or 1.3 miles !!! :thumbsup:

    This route I take has a few steep hills which make it fun

    there is so much smoke in the air today that the light outside has a weird orange glow to it. really strange.
    supposed to get some rain tonight so :fingerscrossed: that is clears up the air some!

    I’ve had this light for 20 + years. I was changing the oil and filter on my wife’s 4Runner and had the light hooked to the hood latch with the hood up. Well, 16 year old struts aren’t to be trusted. Gravity was too much and the light wasn’t going to survive the fall. It’s like losing an old friend…
