I seem to recall NY being that way also. I'm pretty sure I had commercial plates on my old Ranger which would cause an issue on certain parkways. Now, I can rock a private use 250 with regular ole passenger plates.

In RI they look the same but technically my reg is "combination" so it's a bit different. I want to try to get my call sign on a wildlife plate but TBD if that will be possible. It should be if and when we move to Texas though!

Yes, it's among the highest payload a Lariat can be spec'd- no sunroof, 18" wheels with AT tires, HD payload package, no e-locker. Unfortunately no max tow because only the 3.5L ecoboots get it from '19 up. The 5.0L is too heavy. But my truck has more payload than most 150's even with max tow.

But...you still would, wouldn't you? :D if I bought an F150 it would be the 2.7 or the 5.0 for two very different reasons.

Looking for tune!!! Sliders, grabber X3, bilstein lift on its way
Well I live in southern NH up here in New England and I’ve reached out to people listed on the KDmaxx group page and have not got anything in return:confused:. Is it me? Did I do something wrong? What’s wrong with me? Anyways if someone, anyone can help me out with this situation I would really like that. I mean it’s not like I want it done for free I will pay the person with money, actually cash money, I know crazy right. I will drive cause that’s what we do with our trucks is drive them from place to place. Gas pedal on the left brake on the right, see I can do this. Now I need the second piece to the puzzle (a tuner). Maybe cause I don’t have social media is the reason no one will deal with me.
Hit me up with a message if you can help me out or know of anyone that will take my money for the service they provide. Am I asking to much here? Am I doing this right? UGH :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:

The max tow option is sort of silly, in my opinion. The truck will generally run out of payload long before you get the max towing number. And, I might as well say it, a half ton truck has no business towing 13k lbs (with few exceptions).

You're not alone, the Escort will forever make me cringe. My folks had a 1981 brand new..granted it was dumb to buy the first year ever, but what a heap. 60-something HP..when my mother (who I always say drives the speed limit for the cemetery) says a car is too slow, that's a feat. Those ones also had the fires while fueling up. Ended up selling it to my uncle cheap who needed something basic.

My ex girlfriend had a 89 she bought in 1996. Two months later driving to school, the trans is bucking and won't shift right plus the CEL. Brought it to the place she got it (3 month warranty) and she picked it up a few days later "oh we couldn't find anything wrong"..I warned her right then to bring it elsewhere and don't trust them, but of course she didn't listen. 4 months later, torque converter. Then not a year later the trans went. This is on top of other stupid little shit I was always fixing. The water pump puked and I didn't have a place to work on it, told her to ask for the timing belt to be done too. She didn't listen..and yep, 2 months later that broke too. GGGRRRRRR

My parents were the same..never really cared much about cars, just what they could pay cash for. Auction life for us..and my dad always drove the older car despite going 100 miles a day round trip.

Let me know when you can make it to providence. Check out providence water fire schedule. I can’t make any of them but if you can, swing by then and grab the window things. Otherwise I’ll be around but not much for weekends.

But, your lariat doesn't have solid front axle, sway bar disconnects, lockers, etc

No shouldn't be - I don't think I'll have the dog for that trip, going up to North Maine Woods for a long-ish weekend, so doggo will likely stay home. Should work. Where you at off 95?

I wouldn't use any of that. I just like it. :D

That's true, I forgot the Power Wagon isn't a working man's truck anymore.

Went and looked at some trucks last night. With that being said, I can do a lease option for just under what I'm paying right now a month, or I've been looking into what a loan would have to be to be at in order for me to feel comfortable. Do you guys usually finance through the dealer or get a pre-approval and then go and find a truck? I've always got financing through the dealer, but id need a pretty good interest rate to make it worth my while, which would be possible with my credit, just would be up to the dealer and banks as to if they would offer it or not

I think right now Toyota isn't doing any awesome deals, a local bank might have lower rates. That said, whenever I've financed I've been unsure about how to use another company and just always went Toyota. I am leasing my truck through Toyota right now, and it isn't horrible, but I wasn't blown away by their offers.
