ever consider trading your tacoma in for a tundra?

Not really. Tacoma is big enough for me.

At 20" longer than my Tacoma, I doubt I'd be able to fit it in the damn garage.

 

eh they look cool and seem good offroad but my next rig will be a fj cruiser, 4runner, or fj40 depending on location I have to build it!

pretty much the same mpg as the tacoma.

 

Not in your wildest dreams. I drove a Tundra 5.7L for work for a couple years. I could never get more than 14-15mpg out of it. Even with all highway driving.

I would of bought a Tundra except for the gas mileage and it's kind of a pain in parking lots.

A. there's no truck in the world worth that much money
B. They're literally too big for living in hawaii or urban areas in general.
I could not. NOT.. park it at work. Friend of mine has it and came out to my work for a few weeks. Had to park in the one spot we have that is against a curb with a tree there so he had some more room. Ended up down the street most of the time.

If I was looking to haul stuff, I might look into it.. but pretty sure they're far to wussy for any real hauling. Real requires 2500/250 or better

 

I wanted a single cab but all they had was work trucks and price tag of 23k
So no thanks I got a taco trd for 26k and very happy plus I found this great place

 

i really like the tundra interior. so much more refined and classy compared to the tacoma

 

X2 they're interior is very nice on them but the price tag is too much. If I want luxury Id start looking at BMW/Mercedes, if I wanted power Id look at a diesel or 2500. You can get alot more for 45,000 elsewhere.

 

Yea.. if my interior was any more plush, I'd have picked I'd have had to pick up the work truck model. I don't hate plush.. just as long as its not in my cars.

 

Keep your tacoma. I had a 08 tundra 5.7 ltr TRD Offroad. Dumped about 6k into it. BDS 6" lift with Icon Shocks all the way around, complete exhaust including headers ect..... The truck was mad fast and looked cool as hell. Problem is way to big for any real off roading and it got about 11mpg (due to my mods). A real bitch to find a parking spot anywhere. I am much happier with my Taco.

Tundras were my first choice. Tundras do look monstrous and badass lifted but would've been a tight fit in the garage but I think Tacomas seem to have a little better resale value.(rarely rebates offered on Tacomas vs. Tundras)

 

nah. i traded a gas guzzler for the tacoma. didnt wana get another gas guzzler

 

Thats EXACTLY what I'm doing !!

Got 268 K miles out of my last Tundra , and am going back to one.

I'm also 6'5 so the Taco was little small for me
