Have you checked the tightness of your 6 bed bolts?

I had my bolts removed when I found I could not do it myself.

^^What he said^^. I hear my bed creek from time to time. I left my bolts snugged down, not super tight, so I can still remove them. Once in a while I remove and re-install them to check the level of rust on them. They were really bad the first time out.

I just wrapped my tailgate to cover the rubbing from my Trasharoo, this might be the best option for you or file a insurance claim but it might not be worth the deductible.
Its nice when you try to be responsible and someone fucks with your shit. sorry to see this man

    Work in progress.
I will check again. I went over it when I got my frame replaced and they were fine. It just looks like it wobbles a little differently from the cab... well obviously because they are not attached, lol.

Not too bad, i thought it would be easy, for some reason the original bracket screws didn't align with the head unit, i mean the holes would align but it would stick out of the dash almost an inch, had to add self tapping screws to recess it.
connection wise pretty easy, i got all the adapters for toyota and everything was just plug-n-play.

Tightening the bed bolts may not fix the problem. There's a metal sleeve the bolt goes through on its way to the frame. If the composite bed has worn away at all from rubbing on the frame (does this with off road use or under heavy loads) the bed will be loose. You need to shim between the frame and the bed to solve the problem.

Easy test is to grab the bottom of the bed just behind the cab and try to lift it. If it wiggles that's your problem bolt. Repeat near the wheel well and end of the bed to test those connections. Usually gets loose near the cab first.

Fixed mine with a bit of rubber:

Also follow up, anybody know a good thread that details prepping, priming, and painting sliders?

    1) Clean them with any cleaner that removes grime. It will take several rags.
    2) Go over them with sand paper. 320-400 grit. Even scotchbrite would probably be okay.
    3) Clean with denatured alcohol if you can get it. Multiple times until rags seem decently clean.
    4) Spray with primer. Thin coats. Apply multiple coats until it looks uniform. Let dry between coats.
    5) Start applying paint. Some people would have you sand and clean before painting. I wouldn't. They're just sliders and you can repaint when necessary.
    6) Enjoy the fruits of your labor.

    No. :luvya:

    Kidding of course.

I put the zip tie on there just to keep them together and controlled, without the zip tie they want to spread really far apart, be floppy, and hang down lower where I'm afraid they could grab a stick or rock off-road or some garbage or something on road.

They're really long; +7" over stock and I'm only lifted 3".

I ordered them this way as eventually I want to go 4" lift in the rear with 12-14" ish shocks (I think stock is 8-10"?) with the Archive Garage towers and 63" Chevy springs for some *DROOOOOOOP* and don't want my brake lines to become limit straps but in the mean time they really are too long and don't want them to become arresting cables off road.

Just bought it, but it's been lifted and who knows what else has been crappily done before I got it. It's going to be a project for sure... but it's my daily driver too.

Finally catching up on this thread and then I see your control knobs... Now, I gotta find some. Any help? I really like the 4x4 knob. Does the white part illuminate on the AC controls?

They do but not so great with the stock bulbs. I switched the bulbs out to brighter LEDs. I posted a comparison pic on a few pages back.
