Well made a trip finally to the cabin out west, grabbed a few pics along the way in.

 

Well the SIL's helped me recover one of the two dear blinds that were way across the wash out area, took them both down but the base to the second one snapped when we started to tilt it over...Not my welds but someone else who had put it there. Well anyways the second one will need to stay out there a spell longer until I make another trek across the area to get it bring it back. They also helped get the patio cover roof on, nice addition to the place as shade is a great thing out there.

 

Took the cart out there this time as well, basically made my own path out there while I was looking at the path to get to the blinds.

 

Love that view of the place ^^ just above. Heck, they all are nice.

Well update to the rig,,, last Friday I left home before 3am to drive to Maner’s house to get my rack that I had purchased from @BankrupTaco. Maner is just over 5 hours north of me, dropped off some metal pipe for him, and grabbed tires for @BassAckwards and met him in Johnston City to drop them off. Well anyways got back to north side of SA around 1:30 ish. Yesterday I was able to get the cap rack on and get the truck out for a pic.

Did you swap cab racks at some point too? or is that the KC rack you had before? That is a tight fit, but those line up great

 

That is what I picked up from Maners house, yes the other one is off now. Will try to sell it soon.

 

Ahhh i see, i saw the rack on the camper and thought that's what you were talking about. Now i am noticing they've both been swapped looking back at your older pics.

 

Ya got the one first then ordered the second one to match. Started mounting the new to me 270 as well last night.

 

That'll be great for when you're out west. I bet shade is hard to come by out there

Well I got to use the tent again not long ago as it had been too long, test fitted the tent and the 270 awning I had picked up a few months ago. Held off on installing it as I was waiting for the new cap rack to come in.

 

Went to the Texas Overland Expo with @07taco, @D-Taco and his dad, @Phoosa , IG mondo4runner this past month. Was a good get away from it all. Did some browsing to see if there was anything I could live without but in the end just ended up hanging out at the camp.

 

Now with this all installed need to look at moving the roto pax out of the bed of the truck and to the roof, need to invest in some of the security ones for that. Also my tredpro's will need some sort of mounting plate as well, hopefully the black friday deals will be decent and I can look into getting them.
