    A few.
Looks good but might take a beating being right inline with the tire without a mudflap to block anything.

Nice it looks good thanks for the pics. I’ll be doing this I am sure.

Yep sold a 2013 STI Hatch as I needed a truck for work.
Plan is to buy another one once I get the truck paid off. May just find one that needs a motor and do it myself since I’ll have the truck to drive

What primer and black paint did you use exactly.
Was it Satin or semi gloss?

    Anymore pics of the cans?

    this and that...
i dig my 2020 pro exhaust. gives a nice tone to it when you get on it and stock when you dont. dresses up the back nicely cause the tip is pretty pronounced even with that black chrome finish. with that being said, i did want my truck to be...louder so decided to try out carven. should be the sound im looking for especially with my urd mkii ypipe. just wish i could use the trd tip instead of the bolt-on carven tip.

Alright guys, after reading all these comments I pulled the trigger and ordered mine last night. I didn't want anything loud but a little throatier and sounds like this will work. I was on the fence but Toyota had an extra 10% off for Memorial Day that ended last night. Look forward to install.

So I have found out there is not a TRD PRO exhaust it is just TRD? I was going a little nuts looking for PRO and the dealers saying they only had TRD:crazy:

A few dealerships stated there is no difference in the exhaust just the part # in their systems. See response also from Toyotapartsoverstock

The TRD performance exhaust is one of many “aftermarket” performance parts you can buy directly from Toyota.

It’s confusing because…The TRD performance line is mostly unrelated to the TRD OR, TRD Sport, and TRD PRO trim levels, except for the fact that the TRD PRO comes with several TRD performance parts pre-installed from the factory (exhaust being one of them).

Trd pro only comes with trd exhaust, that’s it. No other “trd performance parts”. Funniest thing is that trd had nothing to do with developing this exhaust.

TRD PRO doesn’t come with TRD branded skid plate? Or shift knob?

C’mon let’s not get into semantics. The point is that the TRD PRO comes with a number of these in-house “aftermarket” parts.

Besides…“Performance” is always poorly defined. Most would argue the TRD exhaust offers virtually zero performance (i.e., cosmetic), while the skid actually functions! I’m personally not a fan of aluminum skids, but that’s a separate topic.

what’s the story on the development of the exhaust? Is it just a stamped Borla or something?

I guess you are right, the skid plate actually performs, whereas trd exhaust offers no performance gains except for noise.

I forgot the name, but it’s not Borla. I have the Borla and my buddy has trd, Borla is definitely louder.

I wanted a trd exhaust but didn’t want to pay the money. Kept searching and found a used for $275. Tried calling dealers to see if it would fit an access cab. They said it wouldn’t fit. Took a chance and it fit like a glove! Great sound and no drone. Great mod.

Regardless of what peeps say about cold air intake... I was taken aback that my TRD Pro didn't come stock with the TRD CAI. I mean... why not???

I ended up installing one a week after I got my Pro just to keep with the theme.

I guess it gets a lot of hate because folks claim power increase, when it doesn’t. To be fair though, your truck did come with a CAI, just muted.

Trd performance intake does sound great though. I’ve always modified intakes in my vehicles, I really don’t like the muted intake sound.

I did the poor mans trd intake on my taco, love it.
