Time to poll the masses

All else being equal, is there an inherent price or weight advantage/disadvantage to running 17-in versus 16-in wheels?

Brakes fit comfortably on both sizes, final tire size will be 33s, obviously the aspect ratio will be slightly different depending on the wheel diameter, and yes I'm aware that you get more sidewall flex with 16s compared to 17 since it's that much more sidewall.

I'm leaning in the direction of 16-in wheels, unless anyone has experience that says otherwise.

 

Tires weigh less at 17” but you lose valuable sidewall. I’m happily down to 16” wheels appreciate the additional tire sidewall.
