Do you replace your starter battery with a Group 31 and buy a portable jump starter as insurance?

Correct. Never had to use the jump pack on myself, but it has been used plenty of times on others.

I usually move the truck every day or 2 at the most, so dual battery was a lot of extra money, amp hours and weight that was unnecessary. Group 31 seemed a good compromise for my needs in a smaller footprint.
