20's on a 3in lift - '08 Sport?

    Icon Coilovers, Downsouth UCAs, rear Icon "2.5" shocks and Toytec single AAL. Still gotta do exhaust, dark headlights and re-gear the rear diff.
    What do you guys think about squeezing 20s on a 3in lift? I know it will be tough, but how many have actually pulled it off??

    If you have done this, how much trimming was involved?

    Rim size etc etc?

    Anyone have pics? And do you think it looks good?

    I've seen it and I don't think it looks good. Maybe for a mall crawler it would be ok.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    some models of tacoma come w/ 20s on them...it's all in the tire size after that point

    Fox coil-overs, Fox shocks, 20" Helo wheels, blowthough, Jl and focal system, Grillcraft grill, Toyo Mud terrains
    Its not hard at all. I had 285/50/r20s without trimming anything. I had to trim a little when I went to 33 12.50s. What tires are you going with?

    Well i was thinking 305/50/20s or 305/55/20's

    Obviously the 55s would be tougher but then i started wondering if 20s would be too big for a 3in lift....looking to see more pics of this configuration to decide.

    The wheels that gave me this idea are the BMF Novakanes....the best wheels ive seen so far - fawk i wish they made them in 18s!!!!!!

    Im hung up on the 305 idea though, regardless what wheel i pick...I think the wider the better, and nobody hardly seems to try going past 285s
