Damn, you haven't had it a day and you are contemplating shooting it -- sounds like buying a new printer.

I've been running double strength Prestone flush in the 3205 radiator for a year now and it did nothing. Drained it and refilled with RO water and Thermocure by Evaporust today. Has anyone ever run this stuff? I read a lot of good reviews on it before buying.

Agree. We landed on the moon barely out of the vacuum tube era -- 50 years later we still can't print words on a page reliably... :smash:
If I ever have a "cardiac event" there are good odds a printer will be involved. :annoyed:

It’s brand new but it’s possible it’s running off engine rpm, I haven’t had it up to pto speed yet

And it probably costs just as much if not more than a steel dual axle

I've been looking at log splitters but haven't yet pulled the trigger. It seems that about $1500 or so gets you a decent unit from tractor supply, Lowes, etc. I just came across a PTO powered splitter with new hydraulic pump and cylinder for $450 about an hour away from me. What are your guy's thoughts? Any experience with PTO powered splitters?

I have debating this too, no experience with a PTO one, but my thought is one less machine to maintain or fuel by not getters a stand alone splitter.

I'm also looking into the PTO screw splitters(bit more dangerous).

I don't like that you are putting hours/wear and tear on a $16-25k machine with a PTO splitter when it could be on a $500 gas engine that's easily and cheaply replaced. Run non-ethanol gas in it and you won't have problems with it related to it sitting around.

Not really rusty looking in there, looks more like mineral build up. I clean my tea kettle with plain white vinegar, maybe you could cork up the hose ports and try filling the radiator with that for a few days. Vinegar is cheap too! :)

Thermocure is supposed to remove mineral scale as well.
