Can you confirm that 1st Gen Tacoma skid plates fit 3rd Gen 4Runners?

I've seen in some cases, on vendor websites, that the same part number is used for after market skids.

Then with other brands, I've seen two part numbers used.

Just trying to figure it out as I'll be picking one up from @eon_blue

These OEM skids are, and have always been, a joke

 

I am 99% sure they are the same. I have the 4runner skid sitting in my truck bed. I will bolt it onto the truck tomorrow and let you know how it fits.

MR2 motor on the stand. pending free time at work i'll pull it apart and hopefully find no damage to cylinder walls. bore scope looked good down in the bores. we shall know more when the heads are off.
