For some it's like Fluid Film, I actually don't mind the smell...

I don't mind the smell of brand new gear oil at all, doesn't smell bad to me.

Used gear oil that hasn't been changed in 2 decades/250k miles, that's another story

It’s almost been a month and I still get nauseas when I think about the smell of that old oil. I imagine it’s the main ingredient in “Sex Panther” cologne from Anchorman.

To each their own. I changed my front diff oil this weekend. Drain pan is still sitting and making the garage smell. It's the aroma of success...

I like the syrup smell of antifreeze. I rarely get to smell an overheating engine so maybe that's why.

just be careful replacing the rubber grommet if it's become hard and brittle. they can break and drop pieces into the valve cover.

well, after reading several pages, I see other members already warned you about this.

I was figuring I’d have to bore either one out a bit to get them to line up perfectly. This helps confirm my initial thought about them lining up close enough as I believe the 4x mounts in the same spot as RCI

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Yes, I'm pretty sure all of the transmission skids that are for Tacoma (4runner is a bit different) have the holes in the same place as the SkidRow skids. They are all designed for the bolts to run up through the crossmember.

@Captain Magma I just measured mine. The bolts are 17.5 inches center to center.

Yes, I have the step by step bookmarked! Theres almost no rust besides a little surface oxidation (its the rainy season) so I'm hoping she's fine there. Are those the prices per each? I though $500 was already bad for parts, now I might need to add another $250? Ouch

Those are the prices on Amazon which I find are often more expensive than what you can find online at other dealership websites.
    For example https://parts.conicellitoyotaofcons...t-camber-adjusting-eccentric-front-4845235020

Although sometimes the shipping can get you. Worth shopping around a bit though.

    Also check https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/ & https://parts.camelbacktoyota.com/

These two parts 1996-2015 Toyota Alignment Camber Adjusting Eccentric (Front) 48452-35020 | Camelback Toyota Parts

    and

1996-2004 Toyota Cam Sub-Assembly, Front Suspension Toe Adjust 48409-35050 | Camelback Toyota Parts

while decently cheaper than Amazon, both say they dont fit my 1995. Bolt is fine.

Both part pages refer me to this same part 1995 Toyota Adjust Cam 48409-35040 | Camelback Toyota Parts but I dont see any sleeve.

I actually bought a cam adjusting kit (washer, bolt, sleeve) from RockAuto before, for my exact model, and the cam/washer didnt fit, and returned it. Reason I bought it was the alignment shop said I needed it, and nothing else. The part didnt fit, they even got another of the same part delivered, and it still didnt fit. I dont go to that alignment shop anymore lol. They didnt even notice my LCA bushing was shot.

I wouldn't trust Amazon knowing what does and doesn't fit your truck.
Those parts sites will. Just put in your vin and whatnot.

The pictures is kinda wonky for that one. Sometimes they use "universal" pics, but it includes the sleeve: https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~cam~sub~assy~front~suspension~toe~adjust~48409-35040.html (same P/N and shows sleeve).

The things I linked were through Camelback Toyota's part site. Not Amazon.

The two parts I linked first even say 1996-2004, with 1996 as the earliest year.

    So 1995 uses something different?

The part you just linked does appear to fit my 1995, thanks. Thats only 2 out of 3, of the parts you said I needed.

This site says the "48452-35020" does fit the 1995 48452-35020 - Toyota Parts Deal but Camelback says no it doesnt, only 1996+, and instead refers me to this part 1995 Toyota Adjust Cam 48409-35040 | Camelback Toyota Parts which is the last part you linked.

So I'll order 4 of the bolts: 1995-2004 Toyota Suspension Control Arm Bolt 90080-11283 | Camelback Toyota Parts

4 of these: 48409-35040 Genuine Toyota Part (toyotapartsdeal.com)

and 4 of: ??? 48452-35020 or 48409-35040 again? I imagine I need some kind of end nut part for the bolt to screw into, and not just another set of washers.

oh I thought you were talking about the Amazon links.

1995 is the first year of the first gen tacoma so a cam sleeve, for example, that works for a 98 but not a 95 should really work for any kind of 6 lug first gen within 95-04.

The plate that the bolt screws into and the sleeve slots into:
    https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~plate~front~suspension~toe~adjust~no~2~48452-35020.html

the XXXXX-XX040 is the sleeve, and the XXXXX-XX020 is the plate with the integrated nut
