Anyone one hear ever hear a 3rd not starting? I depress the clutch and definitely have battery and no clicking or anything. Just dead. Have to depress the clutch a few times kicking the key back and forth.
Almost seems like the truck doesn't know the clutch is depressed. Just started happening yesterday, my truck is under warranty. Probably call the dealer tomorrow, but was wondering if anyone else ever ran into this issue?

If it happens again try the Clutch Start Cancel Switch to narrow down the problem.

The lower limit switch is probably out of adjustment. Should be a quick fix. There's instructions in the Service Manual linked in my signature, if you want to skip the trip.

Are you asking if I have factory floor mats?

I do but they are not in the truck right now.

because aftermarket floor mats can interfere with the switch. you'd have to push down super hard to engage, same happened to many including me.

This same issue can be a head-scratcher when your taco will not go into 4-Lo. The clutch pedal must be to the floor otherwise you get an error. - Even lower than needed for a proper gear shift.

Damn just found this thread. Fully loaded 2020 OR 4x4 6MT.

Just got 5.29 gears put on mine. Huge help especially in 1st or 2nd on these SF hills with 33’s.

I know it's a dumb question but are there tunes for manuals as well?
