You're a lifesaver! Thank you so much! I just need to figure out what 1/8" translates to in degrees. I have access to a Hunter alignment rack at work. I think my biggest issue is my toe was set using factory specs, so I'm probably toed wayyyyy out.

When I set my front end the last time, like 3? years ago, I had printed out results from the alignment, but of course I can't find them now.
That makes a lot of sense. Right now, my truck pulls HARD to the passenger side. I need to put a lot of effort into keeping it straight and if I turn left, it resists my input, then suddenly you get to a certain point and it just goes sharp left. If you're not careful, you can get into an over-correction death wobble/sway lol.

I was wondering if there was a more technical reasoning.

Pretty sure that’s total toe. So 1/8 toe in would be 1/16 toe in on each side.

    Who is running limit straps?
    Polyester or nylon straps?
Haven't looked up anything on the differences yet just wonder what everyone's thoughts are on the 2

Kartek has both is why I ask. Their website shows nylon in black and polyester in blue. If color depends on which material then I'd say I've seen more trucks with black limit straps

Could ask Kartek. The different materials could have different wear and stretch properties depending on use location?

My alignment shop added about 0.5* additional positive caster to my passenger side and my truck tracks straight. They said it was common on Tacomas. I can see the toe in thing could be true if your tie rods are getting worn out but no idea really. Can’t hurt to try it all if you have access to your own alignment rack.

Good to know! I have to put new tires on it, then I'll try to get it straightened out! Truthfully, I don't remember if I even messed with caster... I know it was in the positive, so I said fuggitgoodnuff and moved on

How do I fix this? Bottom 2 leaves are rotating on my deavers driver side only. Ubolts have been toques and retorqued to spec. I don’t know if it would become an issue, but it bothers me. And it isn’t from leaf separation under flex, just from normal street driving and only on the driver side.

What torque spec are you going to? Have you hammered them back to straight but they tweak out again?

my buddies are like that he just runs it. I noticed my shitty dakars are the same. Did you torque them down while on the ground or on a lift?

torqued on the ground. Wish I had a lift…. Or even a garage.

I’ve always done 85 ft lbs as well. I wouldn’t go much higher because you’ll have all that pressure concentrated on the two U bolts and I would worry about deforming the axle tube right there. I’ve only ever heard of this issue with lesser U bolts, meaning not super beefy ones. That issue was fixed with a beefier flip kit, specifically archive garage. But it looks like your U bolts are the same size as what I have, so I’m not sure.
