Don't get me wrong, I love being near a body of water but you won't see me crossing it via car/suv/truck.

I totally understand.. Maintaining a off-road vehicle in this environment is kind of like having a boat. Well more work than a boat.. After each trip comes a weekend or two or cleanup and maintenance -- to get ready for the next trip.. If I'm going to play in the Ozarks this fall, I'm going to have to up my game in being water crossing capable. Ouachitas trails are less water and more mud holes.

Been training people to run a production line I installed. Gotta be the most boring job ever. Just watching 4000 pieces of paper go down the line all day waiting for any screw ups.

I feel bad for this guy from Texas that came up and got into some Ozark's pinstripes. Well, I feel bad for anybody that gets into them.. Locals should know better.

    Yeah

And the trails you guys got out there are absolutely beautiful, but it seems some guys are more about mud than anything else out there.

I love our hills and terrain here.

I loved the CO hills and terrain. The trails are so well maintained. It was mind blowing the first few days. I've kidded around saying the CO trails are like an interstate compared to the old brush covered trails that may have been a logging road 40 years ago that we have around here.

I'll be going back out west next year. Maybe venturing out to Utah next time.

    Nice thanks!

Yeah @eon_blue was just wanting me to make sure the budbilt will fit, and I was able to confirm it does.

Guess it uses a cross member of its own too, but it should be the same anyway.

    We'll see tomorrow.

Was able to toss a lot of stuff into my 4R to take tonight; the apartment is looking even emptier now.

yeah a lot of the IFS skids like my All Pro one mount to the same holes in the back that the stock skid does. But the Budbilt is longer than most and goes back to cover the steering rack too, so it comes with a little cross member that mounts under there to hold up the very back portion

    Dude :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

He's got his shit duct taped to the freaking desk :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

That experiment was to simply to 'emphasize' the rumble and whatnot.

But let's get into sound effects; the human ear can't detect anything lower than 20hz...even then, most can't hear mid 20's as we lose our hearing as we age.

Anyway, and I hate that it's still at the old house, a high-end subwoofer will net you those bass notes below 20hz.

For anything lower than say, 14hz or 12hz, a transducer takes its place as it takes almost 4 times the amount of energy to create 10hz at the same level than it does to create 20hz notes from a large speaker.

Because what is it, you need twice the power just for a 3db increase in sound/output?

I ended up buying that D-cab first gen I posted frame pics about last month.

It’s been driving well so far. I cleaned the interior, did a DIY rear O2 sim for a P0420 code and replaced the MAF.

I put some cheap speakers that are much better than the 20yo stockers.

Also today I swapped the drivers and passenger seat cushions so I feel like I have a brand new drivers seat.
