Oh, they drop their pellets while they eat so if you have a hay feeder position it so you have access to shovel/pitchfork the droppings for compost pile.

Yeah my lot is half an acre, the fenced back yard is about 2/3 of that. I don't need the goat to keep up with the grass. Dumb question, but I'd imagine they'll eat potted vegetable plants? Just thought of that.

And they'll get to the roof via the hood, then cab of your Tacoma!
I'm just kidding, but I know some variety like to climb all over stuff.

I finally got that Jeep all put back together and pass the function test. I needed a , actually (2) 15/16" stubby wrench but wasn't about to sacrifice my good ones. I'll order a few off Amazon. Takes me so long to do these types of projects, but then I took time to wire wheel bolts and rust spots and put rust neutralizer on that bad spots. Then never seize everything going back together.

Makes me wonder how many thousands of dollars a master automotive tech for life spends on tools? Like needing 2 stubby wrenches, not to mention all the specialty type tools. 50 grand?

So we had three goats for a few years. Had about a half acre for them to roam. Still had to mow a few times but they helped. We gave them to a friend that wanted goats when we were moving and couldn’t keep them. They sent us these pictures the next day.

When I worked in a auto shop a number of years ago the boss had most tools but I started buying my own. By the time I left with a double bank toolbox full it was close to 15k. This was 15 years ago. I know some toolboxes now days run upwards of 20k+ and then the cost of tools

Have you thought about sheep? Katahdin are hair sheep, they shed so no need in shearing them. People raise them for meat, not wool.

Down the street from me they have goats. They seem to sit on top of the old car in the field when I drive by….

Nope, really just toying with the idea of "livestock" lol. Just thought a yard goat would make a good pet if they don't destroy everything.
