This is how I win the lottery every week...

I wouldn't remove them now. Your paint faded a bit by now so when you'll take them off, it'll be visible.

And you'll do the same thing I did...

But it's plastic chrome, so you'd need a separate can of adhesion promoter for $14 :D https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/...r-plastic-flexible-surfaces-0476558p.html#srp Meanwhile the Amazon overlay kit is $16 and super easy to install. My overlays purchased directly from the Chinese labor camp thru eBay have held up well. Paid $40 at the time so this is a great deal.

ONE OF A FEATHER, STAY TOGETHER!
it's why i said i considered debadging :anonymous:
could always learn how to do a full truck detail and paint correction!

but then again, it's cement - it doesn't show scratches or anything (because it's the best colour) so i should be fine. worst case i just VHB the stick-on chrome back in place :cookiemonster:

IIRC watching the install video, there is a lot more drilling, but yeah the stiffener redesign i will say is innovative as it's outside of the norm. I've considered it but need to find someone testing them out.

    also i didn't know there was a 4WP brand rock sliders; https://www.4wheelparts.ca/p/4-whee...rs-with-rear-kickouts-61648w/_/R-4WPBR-61648W

but when you buy a rattle can, you can always do touch ups afterwards when required since you wont use it all at once!

Fun fact: trees are less abrasive than the coin wash brushes

plus they do the work for you.

It's OK if the flatbed truck is a Hino (aka big Yota). What broke now? Or is it just the throwout bearing failing spectacularly?

I'm about to pull the trigger on a Softopper, ordered directly from them (States). They ship with Fedex International Economy - anybody done that before? I know I'm likely going to get dinged for customs, but I hope it won't get
stuck in customs-pergatory or that I'll get charged UPS-sized 'brokeraperage' fees ?
