Those CA guys, I tell you hwat. (I say as a CA guy, born and raised).

I’ll probably aim for shamrock shakedown next st Patrick’s day if you’re there, or there’s always URE since it’s only 4.5 hours from me if you want to try and plan a trip.

I’m 2.5 hours from URE. Would love to see the truck up close if you don’t mind.

An interesting observation, not sure what to make of it. When I would try and adjust the front cam on the passenger side all the way inboard, it was incredibly difficult to move it past middle. If I muscled it, I noticed it lifted up on the inner cv joint and ADD tube and the tire got much harder to spin as if something was binding. All the way outboard, spins freely. I could’ve gone a bit more inboard to get closer to 0 camber, but I opted for less resistance and instead -0.5 camber.

I wouldn’t necessarily call this an issue, but I just wanted to share.

Could you tell if the shaft was plunging like it should. That's really odd

I wonder if you straitened the wheel after moving the lower cam if it would spin easier.

Almost looks like its not plunging at all from here. Thats interesting, unless the outer is binding up?

That’s what I was looking for but it didn’t look like it was, at least not that I could tell.
The wheel was straight in this video. I hadn’t adjusted toe yet so it was a hair out but not enough to make any appreciable difference. I also jacked the front end up after setting toe, wheels dead straight and there was still the same mild resistance as before

Yeah, I’m not too sure. That’s why I wanted to share it in here.

Is it possible you're not strapped high enough?

There's no way that's the issue. An angle finder on the axle shaft is only 22-23 degrees at droop and the 934 are supposedly good to 28 degrees.

I should also add that with the axles off of the truck they plunge in and out at the inner joint like they should, assembled by JD so I assume they're fine. And if it wasn't so goddamn hot I would mess around with it more but I don't care enough to do that.

Hmmmmm interesting wonder if real world when your locked and hanging a wheel if it would be binding or if this is just one of these odd only happens not moving things.

Yeah idk. I will say I've had the alignment pretty much the same for the past two trips and it hasn't been an issue, though I haven't been going too hard while I work out the whole "losing my brakes" deal.

Here’s what it is when it’s all said and done, just a tiny bit of resistance but I don’t think it’ll cause any issues.

I was just sharing for others to be mindful. I do think if I had the front cam inboard and there was resistance that it would cause binding offroad, but who really knows. Every truck is different, maybe Betty white is just special.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about that at all. Before I strapped my mid travel I could feel resistance in my CV's too.
