Volk racing TE 37 on my tacoma

It's not a patient man's product these days! I ordered on February 16th with a 5 month wait time. Wheels due in on September 30th, which actually means sometime in October. Hopefully! Gotta play the game to get the Volk's. It is what it is!

I actually ordered a second set as well. Those are due next April-ish!

I got the second set in a different color and a different offset. It's not like it will be hard selling the set I like least!

 

showstoppers:
I ordered 16x8 -20 TE37x in March, with an original ETA of beginning of June. No other update other than, it should be on a container waiting to be offloaded.

system motorsports:
I ordered 16x8 -20 TE37x in April, with an original ETA of beginning of July. ETA is now October.

ICB:
They had a set of 16x8 -20 TE37x matte blue gunmetal in stock, had them in hand within a few days.

Showstoppers here too. Was told 6 weeks 12 weeks ago with no update other than what you posted.

 

I gave up on Showstoppers, what color did you order from System?

 

ICB got mine within 5 days after payment

Yup, never heard back from Matt/ICB. I went with R4T and the spare that I ordered from R4T shipped from Showstoppers.

 

yea, when I talked to r4t they said they’re waiting for showstoppers as well

 

Well, since you guys are waiting for rims...might as well order your tires now. Everywhere is showing in stock on Toyos and Yokohama but when you place an order or call it's a different story.

 

I guess I got lucky, every email I got a reply within hours. Even hooked me with a set of rays lug nuts with my rim purchase.

 

Nice, you're one of the few that's had a good experience with him. And to get something free is a bonus.

 

If he does reply it sounds like he makes you feel like a raffle winner.

what lugs are those, please?

 

look like the rays aluminum lugs "RAYS L42 DURALUMIN"

 

do you know the exact specs needed for the 17x8.5 et-10 M Spec Volks? i'm new to the Volks and looking to tap on real experience. i guess i need thread specs and length. showstopper's page here doesn't have the lug specs i need.

 

12x1.5 is the correct size for our trucks.

 

ok i think i see, the 37's fit flush and the L42's pop out which is an aesthetic choice.. is this right? showstoppers only shows the L37's. the L42's are looking nice.
