Body Armor Hiline Series Bumper

Does anyone know if the BADLANDS APEX 12K winch fits on this bumper?

For those that installed the Body Armor light bar with the Hiline bumper, which brackets did you use for the light bar mount? Bumper has some and so does light bar.

The hardware that came with the light bar was a silver allen head bolt and a nut with nothing else.....

 

Well I got it mounted. I had to use some spacers washers and then I found a couple other washers I had for the small bolt tha goes into the side of the light bar

ignore the damage to the bolt head my socket slipped off with my impact. Oops

 

Anyone know if Body Armor have a cover for the light bar? I’m not talking about the cover that come with the light, that doesn’t work for this bumper. I’ve search on TW and google but couldn’t find anything. I contacted BA a few days already but haven’t heard back yet. Reason for this is because I want an amber cover. I know, i know, I should have bought an amber color light. Too late now.

 

There is no factory cover that fits the slot. You will either have to install a cover on the light before install or purchase an amber light.

Has anyone bought the ebay version of this? Its probably the exact same item:

And worst case if you get junk ebay will make the seller take it back. Just curious as my front valance tabs broke in the ice storm and if I am going to replace it anyways might as well get one of these steel bumpers.

 

Its a copy and from what I heard body armor is about to shut them down......

 

Good to know. I see the copy is on Amazon on as well. I know the quality is probably not 100% the same but I do like the lack of branding. I hate products that have their logo on it.

 

For those that have made the bumper cut as I look at the front bumper it does curve. The instructions say make a mark 20mm from edge of the bumper right in the center and then draw a straight line. So that is what I did. I then drew an angled line to follow down to the bend in the bumper skin

Anyone know how much length this adds to the total vehicle? I am able to fit my taco into my garage with like 5 inches of length wise wiggle room. I only park it in the garage if there’s a huge storm coming or out of town but want to keep the option open. I can’t seem to get an answer to this question.

I’d say your gonna be real tight. It looks like mine sticks out maybe 2-3” past original

 

I measure about 3 and 3/8 of an inch off the grill.
