I was going to buy a new 200 series last week. Dealer didn't want to sell it, all they kept asking was if I had a trade in. Who cares if I have a trade? I want to buy the 90k+ truck right there.

It's all going to burn down anyways. Has anyone's paycheck increased by 20% in the last year?

Even 30-40 years ago there were plenty of naive buyers only focused on the monthly payment. For decades auto salesmen have tried to lure buyers based on the monthly payment rather than the full cost of the vehicle, often with great success. Stupidity in auto buying is simply nothing new.

Today they lure you low weekly payments e.g. 89.00 a week once you add it up 356.00 a month so not so good of a deal anymore but some still bite.

Now with Toyota saying it is hitting their production with chip shortages I’m going to assume you can easily just waltz into any dealer in MA and get it below MSRP.

*Side note- This can only be accomplished at dealers up in MA where they have tons of inventory and must present this thread to get this amazing opportunity that no other dealers are offering.

What because Tacomas are hard to find or expensive then it is cheaper to buy dead bikes lol.

Wow $6k market adjustment! Has factory cost to dealer gone up? Sounds like a market rip off.

Some dealers taking advantage of the situation.
    Not market rip-off, dealer rip-off.
    High demand, low inventory.
    Not all, but most.

I grew up on some of those bikes. Well really the Honda Elsinore 125 and Yamaha YZ 125, but dad and my uncle had the SL 350, Kawasaki Trail Boss, Yamaha DT 360, Hodaka’s, and of course Mini Trail 70’s.

I raced a yamaha 1974 mx 175 against DT 360's and other bikes when motocross was just getting started here. That mx175 was one evil handling bike. I was always on the verge of out of control with the bike. Can't recalled how many times i ate the dirt on that bike, but it did make me ride to a whole new level when i got my 1975 125 yz. I went from novice to acquiring expert points in the amateur class that season.

My machine was 1981 Kawasaki KDX 175 and she was fast. Dirt bike in Alberta for 5 years and loved it till I move back to Ontario then sold her in Alberta for more money. Miss her alot though but now too old to dirt bike so I drive around in a 2018 Cub Cadet Challenger MX 750 EPS Side X Side and love it too.

That wasn't a bad bike. I had one to run netra enduro's that year...was my first season entering them...for me it was a learning experience how to stay on time....i burned so many checks that i was ready to go back into motocross.

Never stopped riding myself, but now it's more like once every few weeks around the block and through the open desert. 2003 CR250R

Hell I paid 40500 for my 18 pro brand new and people told me I was stupid to pay over 40k for a taco. Shit has gone flat out crazy.

Worth looking into if they are just sitting around... I figured no way I would get that but when I looked around I could hardly find anything decent and good to go for under 3000. Sold it in half a day with multiple people saying they would come get it.
