Eagerly I opened the boxes to find what seems like predominantly cosmetic damage. I initially thought they were used but it is likely just damage from transit. I have reached out to the sender, debating if I should reach out to ARB/OME as well. Anyone have experience receiving damaged suspension components?

Yea, I sent them a message with photos so I will see what they say. I would have expected better packaging for a higher end suspension and something this heavy.

They;re gonna get dirty and beat up if you plan on using the truck anyways. Contact them and for a few pennies back if it bugs you that much. If not, slap a sticker over them if you don't wanna see the little scratches. Ya it kinda sucks but it is what it is, the suspension will still work fine is the way I see it. My 2c

Looks like it has been dropped or dragged on concrete . I wonder what else hidden might be wrong with it .

Def a bummer . Just see if you can get some discount.
Otherwise it’s honestly not worth dealing with the hassle of shipping them back considering it’s cosmetic. After a few trips out the shocks will look way more beat than that so I don’t think it matters in the end ( unless your building a show truck or something)

Definitely not a show truck lol. If they haven't been previously used I don't really mind putting them on. The scratched reservoir, being aluminum, doesn't bother me much but don't want to deal with a corroded spring down the road, if that's such a thing.

I wouldn’t accept that at all. That’s a pricy suspension. I can understand asking for money back, but I would push for new. Maybe they can put you to the front of the list. Yeah a suspension may get a little damaged but if you’re like me I want to be the one doing the damage at my discretion. IMO when some people buy high end suspensions they want them to look high end and not look like a gorilla installed it.

Marie from headstrong took care of one of my ads shock that was leaking, even after a month of not opening the box. I simply had to drop it off.

I’m gonna say those are repos…

mine came all shiny and new with that beefy, clear, cling film on ‘em, bubble wrapped and double boxed.

I’d send them back, but the way things are now, with supply issues, you’re definitely taking a chance…

I spoke to ARB USA earlier and they said it is usually the shipper that takes care of it, not sure the accuracy of this info as I was sent to their technical department. I told them I would call back if I was not able to get a resolution.
