I’ve been running a small CFX 35 on a jackery 500 hooked up to a 100 watt roof mounted solar panel for the past two weeks.

The trip covered extreme temperature variation.

The performance was excellent. The battery stayed charged and the unit cold ( there were a few days of am fog. But most days were sunny). My wife’s yogurt was in there for a week before she ate since she didn’t get sick I concluded it worked ;)

The jackery had a low charge of 41%, but since it was sunny I let the solar panel do it’s work. One morning it was very cloudy and the sun was not predicted until late in the day. The charge was 67%. ( see photo)I decided to charge the jackery from the 400 watt power supplied to the truck bed ( while driving) I had a full charge within 2 1/2 hours.

All in all I very satisfied.

Note: I didn’t use the jackery to charge any other devices. As my phone was charged in the cab.

Yeah, I know it’s filthy. I need to take it over to a self serve car wash and just hose it down lightly.

Not sure what you want to know. The design is great, the way it all goes together i cant see them not adding stiffness. And, they are out of site. I wanted to give up zero space in the bed for when i get my camper. Buy them if you need them. Install instructions are on y6he web site.

I called multiple times about my Qi charger pad. Despite multiple promises, I never received a call back. What’s even worse, if the system recognizes your number, it won’t let you put in an extension, it just connects you with yet one more person to have to explain everything to. Their brand engagement team is horrible.

The upsetting aspect (personally) is I was hoping to see more of the taco/tundra/sequoia/land cruiser having production delays and hoping to see them pump out more passenger cars... It's just a matter of time before the wife needs a new car and she's got her heart set on a RAV4 or Lexus RX/NX... Just hoping we can limp her Accord along til this issue is resolved. Fingers crossed.
