And doing it via false advertising. Rebuild/return/display isn’t new. Seems dishonest to me.

Old bushings - scratched and rotted, but they started all black.

    2D8EF9B9-383C-461E-8886-AADF7179C167.jpg

and - all the water, salt, grit, grunge and munge runs right down the shock shaft and ends up in the mount right where that bushing lives…. bare metal = bad

and and - when you finally mount ‘em up, marine grease/never seize the shit out of that assembly point.

I'm holding off on name dropping the vendor until they have a chance to respond.

How recent were your replacement bushings? Playing devil's advocate but could be a more recent manufacturing run that they changed the bushing.

For what's it worth, I went with this vendor because they said they would have stock the next week while all of the more well known suspension vendors you see on here all seemed to be out of stock.

I just installed mine last week. Parts came strait from the distributor on a pallet fully boxed, including the leafs. The light wear marks on the body of the reservoirs were on mine as well, but came right off with a rag and glass cleaner. The only real worrisome thing I see is the gauges in the aluminum. We’re the boxes damaged when they got to you?

Not enough to justify the damage to the reservoir and spring.20210819_194135.jpg

Does part of the coil spring on the bottom seat stick out past the seat?

this looks suspiciously like the exact spot the pry bar hits when one sticks it between the control arm(s) and the spring to leverage things during assembly…

If you actually use your truck the suspension is going to look the same or worse. Just think of it as giving it a head start. My Dakar’s looked like they were used in a sword fight when I received them. If you think they were pre-installed that’s one thing, a couple scratches?
