It was in Memphis news that Nissan was shutting down their plant in Canton, Mississippi for a few weeks due to chip shortage.

Toyota has a plant in Blue Springs, Mississippi. They haven't said they're shutting down, but it wouldn't surprise me if they do.

The job losses are certainly the real tragedy here. Nearly 50% reduction in production will certainly mean furloughs and layoffs. Hopefully some folks get generous packages that help bridge the gap in employment.

Haha, I don’t know but apparently it was chart topping for a while back in 2018. I was just surprised to see a song, let alone a country music song about a Toyota Tacoma.

Give me some Alabama, Reba, George Strait, and other "golden oldies" any day of the week. Not saying some of the new stuff is "ok," but I grew up on Alabama, Garth, George, and etc.

I can give philharmonic performance any day to Garth or George. New stuff, not so much.

I think Toyota still has a strict no layoff policy for direct employees. Don't know what percentage of their workforce is direct vs contract though. As you said though, hopefully it works out for everyone.

Yep, same here. One step at a time. I always wanted to tint the front windows on my 08 but never did it so I'm making myself do it this time! Did you do the ceramic or just regular tint?

Ceramic will reject the most amount of heat, regular tint only provides privacy. You can also ask for some ceramic tint that is virtually clear and add it to all other windows to help with heat. I ended up adding 5% to the front 2 windows, I believe 15% to the rear and back glass which brought it down to 5% all around and then did the entire windshield at 50% and it stays a lot cooler especially having all black "leather" interior.

I have a GarFab it is awesome. Fit and finish are perfect. Kids get snacks, coffee, beers… everything stays level.

He should really love the Cavalry Blue… when he does pour over coffee I gagged a little at hipsterness (mostly cuz I only drink espresso)

I went with 3M Ceramic. The heat rejection was a huge driver that made it worth the extra cash for me.

If that is Meso Customs, it should have clicked into place.
