What fenders do you have? I was always under the assumption they were included. Good info for me considering I’m doing the 3rd gen conversion from McNeil.

I more so meant see it when it's assembled, lol. I'm curious how the towers will interface with the long bed.

Just picture the pictures you’ve seen on the short bed, move them 13 inches back from the front of the bed. They land in the front area of the wheel well arch.

So I'm figuring out that ADV doesn't include the cap for fabricated fenders, only a traditional bumper cap. Now I have had a bit of fun working on the glass- but ultimately its finicky to put 2 pieces of glass and a piece of plastic together and expect the lines to stay perfect. Mcneil makes this piece- not sure if anyone has a pair they want to sell but I'm officially more of a fan of the mcneil than adv

Are you looking for just the piece or entire fenders from mcneil?

edit: duh, nevermind. I have second gen fenders for sale which is why I asked but obviosuly wouldn't fit you

Why not just give mcneil a shout? They might be willing to sell just them.

I plan to after work for sure, just disappointed in ADV hah. The sizing is a little different thats my single concern but a tiny amount of glass and sanding is better than trying to put pieces together I agree

So you’re trying to hide the lines between the headlight filler panel and the extra little piece on the fenders here?

Yeah so that photo you just posted is exactly what I've been working on, but truthfully its harder to get those 3 pieces perfect, and I worry they will quickly be misformed from aggressive bumps/full of mud!

Based on what everyone has been helping me figure out is that the above taco is the ADV fabricated bumper style and the Mcneil style is the one I want.. Didn't do my research properly

Even if you ordered the McNeil version, mine has the built in flare that wouldn’t match up with your flare.

or blending in just the bumper part wouldn’t match up with the fender indent near the headlight.

unfortunately it either looks like run it as is or get another fender set.

I’d build a mount off the bumper or core support. Any fiberglass / plastic is going to move if it’s not nicely fastened down.

I have the runnin4tacos kit in a box waiting to pair with ADV +4 fiberglass and bumper caps. all parts just sitting waiting for free time . Pairing the R4Tacos kit and cutting the ADV bumper caps to match is my plan.

So since I messaged here earlier today I spent all morning cutting and sanding- I think they actually look decent now, I used about 8 additional machine screws to hold together the 3 pieces and will have them painted all together

Yeah make the connections stout as possible. It might be good to hard mount them to something once you’ve built your bumper.

Gotta relocate the fuel filler lines ever so slightly from what I can tell. They send extended fuel lines with the kit.

For heimed tie rods, does it make a difference what orientation the inner heim is? I can’t think of why it would matter but thought I would ask.
