I don’t get them refilled, I swap them out at Ace. Just as well though, the valves are crap and the paint coating is worse than the Tacoma’s so they crust up quick.

For those of you who fly often what are the airlines like for wearing headphones? I saw something online but the description seemed super anaquated. We're flying to Florida next month on Southwest.

Yeah but when you get a good one you get more propane for less money having it refilled. You get about 15lbs in a swap and about 20lbs in a refill. Last time I did it I went to the tractor supply near your house but I can't remember how much I paid.

How long do you get out of a tank on the grill? I'm guessing it's more cost effective than charcoal. Charcoal runs about $1 per pound here and I think it takes about 2 lbs to fill my starter chimney.

I love the flavor of charcoal, but I've thought about getting a small propane grill for convenience when I don't feel like waiting 20 minutes to be able to cook.

Depends kn how much we use it. I take one with me for every czmping trip and run the griddle snd the grille on the can. I usually get a solid 2 weeks of camping time from 1 can, 10-14 days using it 2-3 meals per day.

@mach1man001 what do you mean about the headphones. I didn’t full grasp what you were looking for.

I haven’t used headphones while flying in a while and haven’t even flown in a few years, but pre covid you could wear whatever you want and people seemed to prefer noise canceling. Not sure if anything has changed.

I buy a lot of propane for the boat, and all winter long I use it for heat in the ice shanty. Tractor Supply is the cheapest I have ever seen it. My 11lb tank costs like $7 to fill and it's the equivalent of like 22 of the little green bombs which are at least $3 each.

Buy yourself a really nice tank on Amazon and have it refilled. After your second fill you are already ahead of the game over tank swaps which average $30 for 15lbs.

I've got 2 tanks for my BBQ but one of them is empty now and prepping for the storm in case we lose power I need to get the other tank filled. I also need to get bottled water.

Well I have Sony noise canceling over the ear headphones so they are pretty big. I had read online that if you are bringing headphones that they need to fold up smaller than a cell phone and that seemed pretty weird to me.

what!!! that’s sorta crazy. Last flight i did most people had 2/3 bags and were overloading things like crazy. headphones is a weird place to get picky. Maybe if your airline website has a “chat” button you could ask?

    good luck!

That's BS... I have Bose Quiet Comfort 2's and never heard of that rule unless it's airline specific. I fly Delta everywhere.
