The shell, it has windoors on both sides, carpet inside, front fold down sliding window, power lock on rear window, and Thule rack on top, gave $1,000 for it. The storage compartment he said $50, I offered $30 and he took it.

Can anybody tell me where to plug the two wires on the power lock into? Should be the same ones for the tailgate lock if anyone has installed one.

White decal on middle rear window would look great with this design.

Curious, what all have you been able to run on the Jackery? Fridge, AC, etc.? I'm torn between which one to get.

Have you noticed the gain or gas mileage increase at all? If so, you think the intake tube is the reason? A lot of people are saying its just snake oil or the placebo effect. Jw because I'm looking to do small mods like this

When I first put it in, it fit pretty well, but when I clicked it into the panel it didn’t quite fit right. It’s just gotten progressively worse since. I might just stick a little super glue on there idk.

Just adding to discussion. IMO, replacing the intake tube with a smooth pipe and having a better air filter should improve performance slightly. I went with the HPS silicone tube and I have notice better acceleration and power when pulling my trailer.

Update: installed air flow accelerator for $50 Cdn + 20 min. mod. My seat dyno says it pulls a little quicker and seems to keep pulling right up to the red line on the tachometer.
Note, you need to carefully transfer the foam seal around the snorkel to the new part. Do this by rolling it off and when the tape on the foam is warm. Therefore, you won't tear it when removing. Then roll it back onto the new piece.

Maybe take it out and check the install? That ring is supposed to lock in place.

around 4 minutes in, he does the start button ring: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQI0x6kVODo&t=311s

Super please with the end result and very happy to have it done before we drive 1700 miles with glare in my eyes. This Barcelona Red is beautiful but it sure does glare!

I know when I installed mine it wouldn’t click into place properly. I found I had to shave a bit of the plastic off inside the little eyelets on it to get everything to snap in place properly.

Did you align it properly? There is a notch or some kind of marker pointing out the top.

May I ask where you found the HPS pipe for $50?

I believe so. I watched the videos about 5 times while I was doing it. If I recall it was really only one of the eyelets that wouldn’t fully seat. Tried taking it off and rotating it to other positions (going against what the video told me) to see if it could be an issue of orientation. But in the end everything fit flush as the video indicated, except for the one little tab not catching the one eyelet properly, so I shaved the opening of that eyelet a bit bigger and it snapped into place securely. Maybe I did it wrong, but it sits flush and is secure, so….
Here’s a pic of mine. Looks good to me.
