The only other thread I found like this died the same week it was born, six years ago.

I like reading everything. Books, magazines, interweb articles, @Lucario Runner ’s and @Torspd ’s build threads. You name it.

What are y’all reading right now?

Mostly SF, but history, historical novels, and right now reading some Elmore Leonard.

Nice! I’m a fan of history, I finished a couple of Allan Eckert’s books recently.
Elmore Leonard wrote a few books that were adapted into the TV show Justified I thought. That was a good show, I ought to look up his work.

those are the books I am reading. There's a Kindle e-book combo that has all of them together except for the last one Raylan.

I just have the app on my phone. Originally started with a Kindle Touch, but since I read incessantly, having the free phone app works better.

Just finished "The Wise Man's Fear" by Patrick Rothfuss. Hoping he doesn't take another 10 years to finish book 3. Need to find a new book now.

I usually just convert everything to PDF and use Adobe. I suppose it would be annoying to have to carry around and charge another device all the time.

Don't even get me started on Patrick Rothfuss!

I read mostly scifi. I'm currently going through the Firestar series by Michael Lynn.

Just started Die Wacht am Rhein by John Ringo and Tom Kratman, two of my favorite authors. Ausgezeichnet!

That looks as strenuous as my choice, though if you’re into it, it makes the reading much easier!

I am also. This was my first reread of the books, last time was shortly after book 2 came out. Have you read "The Slow Regard of Silent Thing"? If not it's worth a read, its abut Auri in the Underthing.

Not a fan of him? Or tired of waiting for the next book like most of us? I'll have to look into Firestar.

I usually have a few books going at any time, mainly history and SF/fantasy.

    Not work:

    Work related:

Also go through audiobooks when I'm on the road. Currently nearing the end of Heinlein's Stranger in A Strange Land.

I have not read that yet, just the two of his so far.
I have so many books in queue it’s a little ridiculous
I have piles of books everywhere, side table, bench at the foot of the bed, back seat of the truck.

Always a fun option, I’ve been meaning to pick up a copy of Kent Rollins’ cook book for a while.
