Ha! Get pulled away every day mid rebuild on a piece of equipment for "emergencies" such as "the air dryer is missing a screw"....like how the flying f*%& is this my issue. I'm going to get my business cards redone with "before calling, ask yourself if Google can answer your question".

So here's a lesson in LOW volume options...
When you buy an option contract on a stock be sure there's volume..
I bought the $28 (In the money) AXTA calls before earnings....looking for a run over $30 and then bank....WELL....The stock is over $30 and has been but there is ZERO volume on these suckers...I've got 5 contracts and they are the only contracts ever traded on these...It's crazy.
I'm probably going to end up exercising them because the bid has been below market value. (Share price-$28) Like right now the shares are $30.69 and the BID is $2.80 which = $0.11 of time value? Eeesh...that's thin on a $30+ stock...
    Those are my 5...

Doing a little poking around...on 5/20/21 crude was the price it is today...
    OIL Stocks were WAY higher...
    They are all on sale...
    5/20 $NRGU was $143....$90 today.
    $VET was $7.48..Closed at $5.75 today. That's where I'm putting money...

also...have you tried selling one at a bid price closer to ask (i.e. 3.05) and then selling another one at the new bid (2.9)?
prob won't get rid of all of 'em, but maybe a couple?

edit...nevermind...i see what you're driving at..

Smart man. The ONLY time I sell NVDA is when a covered call I sold expires ITM and gets exercised. Then I wait for a dip and buy right back in.

You are very lucky it BARELY broke the ATH. I was sweating bullets my 4 NVDA $210 covered calls where gonna get exercised. lol

Today did exactly what I was hoping it would do. The NASDAQ and S&P rallied hard. That left me up 15.8% today.

ROKU calls expired worthless. Shocker. I know. lol
TLRY calls went to the graveyard.
RBLX calls ended up only down 21%. Considering it was 60+% 2 days ago I'm more then happy with that.
    AAPL calls cost me 30%.
NVDA covered calls I sold expired worthless so I keep the 400 shares.
    NVDA $187.50 calls profited 75%.
Still holding 4 NVDA SEP 17 $190 calls. Those are up 63% currently.
    INFI was up.
    GTii was up.
    COIN was up.

Finally a day that didn't suck. Still down 10% the last 3 weeks but it was a lot more then that a few days ago. lol
