Improved factoy substandard to HID head light bulbs. Added 2 fultime-ON USB charging outlets. Auto trans TSB Update/reflash to improve shifting. Recall inspection of rear- end, no leaks detected.
Here is the TSB for the Condensor Fan update. The fan control connections are extstreamly involved. It is highly recommended to install and Binary Pressure Switch on the high pressure side and discribed by another member over connecting fan control switch as listed in this TSB.

I went back a few pages and didn't find any posts from me, so I'm just going to start over. About a month ago my mom started having issues that wound up putting her in the hospital. They took care of the problem but she had some setbacks, including a small stroke that left her mildly confused. At first she seemed to be on the road to recovery and the docs were saying she should get back to her old life after some rehab. But then she began to refuse to cooperate with anything. She stopped eating, refused meds by mouth, would not do PT or OT stuff. I think she made up her mind to go, and she has now gone. She passed away last Tuesday and is with her husband of 71 years and her beloved sister.

I haven't been posting much because I have been preoccupied with her care. There is still a bunch of stuff to do of course. My emotions are up/down but mostly I feel relief that her suffering was short and that her decision to go was her own. Once we figured out her plan we helped her as much as we could. My parents are together again. I need to find my own peace with that. I'm sure I will.

I am sorry Dave, I hope posting gives you a little feel better medicine. I am glad she seemed to make up her mind. When dad passed, Mom only seemed to have about 2 years before her health just disintegrated. It was harder on my sister, because she was local and made all the (good & best) decisions possible. In the end, I think she wanted to be with Dad. All the best to you and yours.

Declawing a cat is cruel and unfeeling. You value your furniture, but won't buy a scratching post for your cat. Cats just naturally know about scratching posts, they are designed for them. You ever heard the saying: If you love them, set them free? A domesticated cat with access to the outdoors will love you and be with you inside much more than you think. It will sun itself outside, maintain it's territory around your yard, chase butterflies, enjoy the freedom it deserves, and if you provide it's vaccinations, will not contract disease from outside, nor even be around feral cats at all. Declawing a cat is cause to be denied adoption from any shelter anywhere, and in my book, the perpetrator of that cruelty deserves the same be done to his fingernails as he had done to his cat.

    Good morning, everyone!!!

Worked on the stable yesterday - had to do some concrete patching along the section of the floor where the new beam section went in. The original floor was floated against the original beam...which was a hand-hewn log so it wasn't straight or uniform on width. Got the major gaps filled before I ran out of patch - back to the hardware store today.

I carried some things out to consolidate in the separate horse stall where I keep my target stands and the two snow plows. It has an open front and I noticed a sumac growing at the one edge, just inside. I had on work boots but was wearing shorts. I quickly realized that there was a ground hornets nest adjacent to the sumac I was bending with my foot when I felt a pain in my left ankle. I looked down to see hornets on both ankles and heading inside my boots. Two Benadryl followed...which knocked me out and I slept most of the afternoon. For Happy Hour it was B&B - Bourbon over Benadryl. :D Welcome to life on Mighty Mortgage Manor.

    Be safe out there!!

Since it's ok for you to say I should be tortured I'm comfortable with saying your an idiot that doesn't have the facts. I do have several scratching post and a cat tower as well. And they still scratch on everything even without the front claws. Had one cat that destroyed walls and trim even with said cat towers. Obviously you know nothing of feline leukemia or feline aids which are both common and there is NO CURE for them and it is highly contagious. This is also part of the reason the outside cats die so young. Yea so I declawed my cats, saved them from many years of hardship trying to survive outdoors in Michigan winters. I also spayed and neutered them to cut down on the population. They get regular vaccinations Spared them from disease, malnutrition and predators. They have many comfortable places to sleep and lounge. They are not alone and spend their time with each other and when I come home I am surrounded by them and they all get lots of love. They have lots of toys and get treats daily. Yeah they have it rough and a horrible life, they should be free outside to fight for survival with the rest of the ferrals. They would already be dead if that was the case. I have even redone the window sills in my house so they are nice and wide and they can lay in the window to sun themselves.without being exposed to the dangers out side. You live in a false sense of euphoria and a fantasy world and paint a rosey picture of the outside world for ferrals. It's just not that way, its a hard life for them. I have cared for the ferrals for years and know a great deal about them and the hardships and struggles they face, adopted many of them out, watched many of them die due to illness and injury. What have you done for them other than let them be free to chase butterflies in your fantasy world and live free for 3 or 4 years only to die of some disease. Your so kind and I'm so cruel, my cats are tortured and suffer, b.s. My cats are well cared for and healthy. And I do more for the ferrals than most. So don't preach to me about how cruel I am and how I should be tortured because I have front declawed my cats and care for them like no other.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Folk! Must say the pool project is going "just swimmingly!" :rimshot:

I can't barely feel my hands, mostly from holding on to the hot, textured cement deck. Can't use the finger ID on my phone! I did the top cement last year, and the water was higher for me to epoxy. Not so this time! More pics when I clear the phone....

This is the ONLY part of the epoxy paint that was a failure from last year. The step has always been a problem. Previously, there were about 10 repair sections to re-cement every year. The epoxy paint does it's job. So far....

The tile was primered yesterday, and will be the same blue as the coping today. The coping will end up white, because that is how the wife wants it to let me paint the tile. Oh, the tile is a constant repair issue, obsolete, and why I'm covering it. The pool is some few years older than our marriage! 35+ years.

The key is TNR. Trap Nueter Release. Stop the population increase, stabilize the population…it works, trust me we have done this.

    Good morning, everyone!!

Looking forward to seeing the pool, Kurt! The original pool on our property lasted 42 years before the lines finally started leaking and it became easier just to bring in a new fiberglass one.

I'm heading off to a "tool" bingo fundraiser today. Not sure what to expect.

We are under a flash flood watch until tomorrow afternoon. Light rain just started falling - the majority of it is supposed to hit later today and then overnight and tomorrow morning.

    Be safe out there!!
