We were on a pretty basic dirt road and we heard a loud clanging noise. Stopped, got out and looked but there was nothing. I had my wife pull forward slowly and she hit a small bump and the piece fell out. The bed was empty. I've had the lift installed since I bought the truck in 2015 and it was all new parts. I suspect it cracked or was damaged while we were wheeling the weekend before. I'm glad it happened where it did and not while driving at highway speed where that piece would have flown out and potentially damaged someone elses vehicle.

Rented a teardrop trailer from a local place for a trip up to the BC Rocky's (Jasper/Banff).

    Stunning views the whole way.

A coupla things to make camping more fun and serve as backup to the whole house generator if camping at the house becomes a thing.....like when the arctic freeze came and no natural gas in the line to run the generator. At least this will run a few things and make it a little less primitive.....

I couldn't believe how low Blue Mesa was last time I drove through, about October last year. It actually looks a little higher in your photos. Nice tires, by the way.
