Installed full RCI skid package that got delivered today. Was a lot harder than I imagined. My transfer case cross member didn’t fit and it took me an hour of “is it the wrong one?” before I just smacked it with a mallet a few times.

We have excellent weather for the install. Nothing to worry about till Saturday night but you will be home by then with a kick ass snorkel on your Beast of a rig.

Checked my spare tire today. It took a little effort to bust it loose. It's probably time for a new tire, it's a little over a 11 years old.

Got my mile marker hydraulic winch plumbed and the controller mounted. The handle is removable and I will have a cable ran into the cab for remote control.

I like it when someone else keeps the miles off it for you.

Definitely. I had my 2016 sport 5.5 years and sold it with only 25k miles. I knew the last 1.5 years I wanted to sell it so I intentionally kept miles down on it.

I was going to bring my Makita drill and the step drills that I have. I can't find it anywhere. I've looked multiple times. I hope I didn't leave it in the bed of my truck and somebody swiped it.

Looking for Toyota wheels for my 2008 OffRoad. Does anyone know of any 6 lug Toyota oem 16 x 7.5 wheels. 16 inch tires are cheaper for same brand and outside diameter. My stock 16 x 7 are peeling. Not planning an immediate lift so trying to avoid 16 x 8 wheels. I am considering 17 x 7.5 4runner, FJ or newer Taco wheels. Just don't know of any oem 16's wider than 7". Thanks for any replies.

I'm pretty sure the TRD Beadlocks are 16x7.5. Although they are getting harder to come by. See them in the wheel/tire marketplace occasionally.
When I was looking into them, I noticed there were more tire options for the 17s. A lot of the 16" options I was interested in were only available in load range E. which I was trying to avoid.

Yes I know. I have the 17 x 7 4runner SR5's on my 2012 and am considering the same for the Off Road. I just found a great price on 265/75/16 Cooper AT, same width and height as the 265/70/17, that would look good on the Off Road. No hurry so I will keep looking. Those TRD beadlocks are rare and pricey.

Dealer installed (running boards - part of purchase deal) Weather Tech (floor liners, headlight guards, bug shield); Vent Shade (rain guards, door sill protectors); Color matched body side molding; ARE color matched rear hatch; rubber bed and tailgate liner; Ranch Hand brush guard; SteelCraft Elevation rear bumper; 4" auxiliary running/stop/turn for place in bumper; led light to light up "SteelCraft" logo in bumper.
With no one knowing how to use a round about and the dumb ass Elected Officials putting more in, thought it time to make sure people see my blinkers. BTW, does anyone else feel like they are the only ones using blinkers? Grand General Amber/Amber 3” pedestal light mounted on a Rugged Ridge X Clamp mount on my Brush Guard.

I used an item found on late night TV that actually works. It splices two wires together, solders them, and heat shrinks it tight. While the ad shows a match can do it, I prefer a heat gun. Sorry do not remember the name.

The other end of the wires were spliced and soldered to the turn signal wires. Each individual wire was wrapped in electrical tape and the entire bundle wrapped in Nuke Tape to waterproof those connections.

If my blinkers still get ignored, a train air horn is next. Hell, I might put that in just for “giggles and grins.”
