too many people jump off the cliff with a ton of unnecessary crap

 

Loving seeing rigs with 2000lbs of gear struggling on easy/mild trails.

People forget, the coolest gear of the world does you no good if you don't know how to drive it to your destination

I can do that. Mainly I am looking at ways to make things simpler. I can do it with just my knife and the clothes I'm wearing but I would like to make it easier with a few perks.

The best cure for Overlander's weight disorder is a 4cyl AT access cab.

It's all about comfort level and budget. Intended primary activity and location obviously matter a lot, but when you start counting grams of gear in a bag meant for five or six days, that's over-thinking it.

I dunno, I carry a lot of stuff most people wouldn't but I use it.

 

I obviously have a lot of time on my hands tonight...
