Redline custom leather shift and e-brake boot. VFTUNE Super Full Otto cycle, octane learning, premium fuel.
I have unlimited wash as well. 2 or 3 times a week.
I hand washed my miata, the truck gets the machine wash, it got detailed after I bought it with jetseal, then I keep hydroslick on it.

I scratched up the paint at Turkey Bay OHV worse than any carwash is going to do.

Normally two bucket hand wash method myself every month or so. Right now since we’re trying to cut back on water usage I’ve only washed my once since October 2020. It still looks good though because it was ceramic coated at the time of the 1 wash it had.

Yes, I don't know what you speak of the "swirl marks". That's why I ask for some kind of proof or pictures. And I do care and now you guys got me worried my freaking VooDoo blue paint is just going to slide right off my pickup truck because of a carwash.....

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
Pressure wash rinse at one of the local coin ops once a month to get loose stuff off. Once a year I’ll give her the presoak, wash, wax spray detail if she’s been good.

Hand wash only, every other week. The plastic gets Muc Off. The engine bay gets washed out about once a month. If it’s been trailed, the underside gets pressure washed. If I’m not driving it, the truck is in the garage and out of the sun.

A normal wash any chance I can, a quick spray down after off-roading, and a super detail like about to go to a car show wash once a month. Any car/truck is reliable as long as you take care of it.

    I’m into this thread.

I agree with the once a month local coin pressure wash rinse once a month.

Quarterly: wash, heavy soap, brush or mitten wash, wax rinse, dry, then 1.5 hour wax and buff.

Never care to detail windows, leather care on seats and aerospace 303 brisk wipe interior

Foam cannon, agitation, rinse. More in the months of snow because of road salt etc.

Happens very quickly if you don’t take care of your paint.

once or twice during the winter, to get the bottom blaster,,, knowing full well the wax has been blasted off, and a new coat is needed once the weather warms.

I hand wash my vehicles as needed and never use automated car washes (brushless or otherwise) as they are very destructive to your vehicle's finish over time.

I never take it to a car wash like that because it will scratch the truck I wash it myself

The automatic car washes like that scratched up my head lights on my Mazda 3 one time and that was about the last time I went into one of those. Since I got the truck, I don't think I've taken it through an automatic car wash but maybe like 2-3 times. I normally take it to the manual car washes with the pressure sprayer to clean it. I try and clean it every 2-3 weeks. But during our monsoon season (which is now) I don't take it in as often.
